Another great start of the weekend, another great day!
Cool sunny 🌞 weather outside, not humid at all, so I was ready to enjoy the day together with some friends of mine.
We have visited many places of interest today, but will put accent just on few of them.
I was wondering which spot to put as a top one pic, and decided to go with the below one:
Statue of Christ Roi / EN: Jesus The King
It is a must visit spot on the map of Lisbon!
Statue was built about 60 years ago, resembling a nearly twin one in Rio De Janeiro, but honestly this one is the smaller one.
First we had a walk through Almada ( name of the area on the other bank of river Tegus, right opposite of Lisbon), tried cool seafood😉
Then made a short stop at this ship.
Turned out to be the last Military Navy Ship linking Portugal with former colonies in India back 3 centuries ago! There was Military "India run" route that had to controlled by the Portuguese Navy.
Ok, soon after we got to our final destination!!!

It's located in a nicely setup park, with many greeneries, mainly consisting of olive and palm trees!
I was amazed by this structure!
And the view, the view from here is a stunning view of the city, with the aka Lisbon Golden Gate bridge in the background!
