Holidays are for people that aren’t self-employed. But I did get up a little later today – no way around that, as Ellie had a free day and stayed overnight. Really hard to get out of bed when I wake up with her in my arms. Snuggling just beats every activity in the world outside. I did go to the gym, though, and had a good work-out. Chest today. I’m getting better with the bar, improving my technique but lowering the weight a little. I can put it back on later again.
Team meeting was great, too, we talked about how to implement the new bread types, when to make them, how to offer them, and so on. If everything goes well, we’ll start promoting them next week for the first time. It’s necessary as business is slow these weeks. And when things are slow, one can use that left-over energy and time to create new things, restructure and go for other plans. I got Kami to type the data base of our clients into excel, as the WhatsApp broadcast system is failing more and more. With Excel and VBA commands, we can easily change that.
While she was doing that, Ellie and I hung out in the garden at the bakery. And found that a little dove had build a nest upon my big ladder and was apparently sitting on her eggs already. Seems like nobody had used that ladder in a while… I didn’t either. I hope she gets her kids raised and out, quickly.
Tang Soo Do in the evening, and then I wrote a post about my favorite pictures from last week. Those who read this blog already know all of them.
I did play quite a bit of Splinterlands today and resumes my thoughts about land strategy and how to make the most of it. I want to get to the point where land finances most part of my gaming, but haven't concluded that just yet. But I will eventually.
And that’s it for today, tired now. Going to take a quick shower and then off into bed. Thank you for reading and have a good night!
