The state of Sucre, located in the eastern region of the country, stands out for its beautiful beaches and mountainous areas. In both areas you can enjoy a weekend or family vacation and admire the sea and mountain landscapes of the region. On this occasion I share my visit to Carúpano and the Uveros and Tío Pedro beaches, to get to the town of Carúpano you can take a bus or cart from the Cumaná terminal, from the early hours of the morning the terminal begins its activities and several bus lines have as their destination the population of Carúpano, these buses usually have comfortable seats and air conditioning, if you want a faster trip the strollers are an excellent option, with a higher cost; When you leave the terminal, you take the road national Cumaná - Carúpano and in approximately two (2) hours you have arrived at this beautiful destination, on the way you pass through the municipalities of Bolívar, Mejía and Ribero, which also have beautiful tourist destinations; beaches, pools and a particular sale of crafts in the town of Cerezal.
When we arrive in Carúpano we go to Uncle Pedro beach, which is located at the entrance to the town via the terminal. This beach is ideal for children, because it has gentle waves and shallow depth, it also has incredible landscapes, large rocks, vegetation and a spectacular view of the immensity of the sea, it is perfect for children and adults to bathe in the warm and refreshing waters of the Caribbean Sea, the children did enjoy their visit to the beach, they spent several hours swimming and playing, immediately If they came, they didn't want to get out of the water.
El estado Sucre, ubicado en la región oriental del país destaca por sus hermosas playas y zonas montañosas, en ambas áreas puedes disfrutar un fin de semana o vacaciones familiares y admirar los paisajes marinos y montañosos de la región, en esta ocasión comparto mi visita a Carúpano y las playas los Uveros y tío Pedro, para llegar a la población de Carúpano puedes tomar un bus o carrito desde el terminal de Cumaná, desde las primeras horas de la mañana el terminal inicia sus actividades y varias líneas de bus tienen como destino la población de Carúpano, regularmente estos buses tienen cómodas butacas y aire acondicionado, si quieres un viaje más rápido los carritos son una excelente opción,con un costo más elevado; al salir del terminal, tomas la carretera nacional Cumaná - Carúpano y en aproximadamente dos (2) horas has llegado a este hermoso destino, en en trayecto pasas por los municipios Bolívar, Mejía y Ribero, los cuales que poseen también hermoso destinos turísticos; playas pozas y una particular venta de artesanías en la población de Cerezal.

If you go to this beach during carnival or Easter, you will be able to see many people in this place enjoying its strong waves and beautiful landscape, according to information from a resident. of the area, receives the name Uveros because in previous years the land around the beach had a large extension of uveros (also called beach grapes) that are widely used to prepare a delicious wine.
In addition to its spectacular and charming beaches known nationally, which invite tourists to enjoy and spend a pleasant time in the waters of the Caribbean Sea, Carúpano is a recognized tourist center in the state, which stands out for its gastronomy with the preparation of the famous chorizos. carupaneros, a culinary delight known nationally and in great demand by visitors and residents, also the delicious dogfish empanadas; Visiting this beautiful city includes tasting its exquisite cuisine. On our tour we made a stop at a famous empanada kiosk, which by the way were delicious and accompanied by guasacaca and papelón with lemon are much better; Visiting Carúpano was a pleasant experience, which allowed us to see part of its beautiful beaches and taste its delicious cuisine.

Por su parte la playa los Uveros se caracteriza por un fuerte oleaje, nuestra visita en esta playa fue corta, aproximadamente tres (3) horas, luego nos devolvimos a la playa tío Pedro para que los niños pudiesen bañarse tranquilamente; la playa los Uveros es una de las más visitadas en las temporadas de vacaciones, si te diriges a esta playa en carnaval o semana santa podrás ver muchas personas en este lugar disfrutando su fuerte oleaje y lindo paisaje, de acuerdo a la información de un residente de la zona, recibe el nombre Uveros porque en años anteriores los terrenos alrededor de la playa contaban con una gran extensión de uveros (también llamados uva de playa) que son muy usados para preparar un delicioso vino.
Además de sus espectaculares y encantadoras playas conocidas a nivel nacional, que invitan al turista a disfrutar y pasar un rato agradable en aguas del mar Caribe, Carúpano es un reconocido centro turístico del estado, que destaca por su gastronomía con la preparación de los famosos chorizos carupaneros, una delicia culinaria conocida a nivel nacional y de gran demanda por los visitantes y residentes, también las deliciosas empanadas de cazón; visitar esta hermosa ciudad incluye degustar su exquisita gastronomía, en nuestro recorrido hicimos una parada en un famoso kiosko de empanadas, que por cierto estaban deliciosas y acompañadas de guasacaca y papelón con limón son mucho mejor; visitar Carúpano fue una agradable experiencia, que nos permitió conocer parte de sus hermosas playas y degustar su deliciosa gastronomía.
