Definitivamente en Venezuela hay lugares geniales. Desde mi infancia he disfrutado de muchos privilegios que nos ofrece este país lleno de paisajes, las montañas, los llanos, las playas, el desierto y demás; pensé que lo conocía todo, menos la nieve, y aunque no he recorrido toda mi nación, acabo de descubrir un lugar que cautivó mi corazón totalmente y donde me provocaba quedarme para siempre. Se trata de 360, un hermoso cayo en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy.
Definitely in Venezuela there are great places. Since my childhood I have enjoyed many privileges offered by this country full of landscapes, the mountains, the plains, the beaches, the desert and so on; I thought I knew it all, except the snow, and although I have not traveled all over my nation, I just discovered a place that captivated my heart completely and where I was provoked to stay forever. It is 360, a beautiful key in the Morrocoy National Park.
Desde que llegué a Tucacas, el plan principal era ir al cayo donde queda Playa Sur, pero no imaginé que habría tantas sorpresas para esos tres días. Junto a mi esposa y mis amigos nos subimos a la lancha y mientras más nos adentrábamos al mar el agua se ponía más cristalina y con un color verde esmeralda muy brillante, y es que esta región está llena de aguas poco profundas, e incluso cuando apagan el motor se puede apreciar corales, peces y hermosas estrellas de mar. Mi mayor sorpresa fue llegar a este pequeño lugar llamado 360, donde podemos bajarnos de la embarcación en medio del mar y alejados totalmente de la costa.
Since I arrived in Tucacas, the main plan was to go to the key where Playa Sur is located, but I did not imagine that there would be so many surprises for those three days. Together with my wife and my friends we got on the boat and the deeper we went into the sea, the water became more crystalline and with a very bright emerald green color, and this region is full of shallow waters, and even when they turn off the engine you can see corals, fish and beautiful starfish. My biggest surprise was arriving at this little place called 360, where we can get off the boat in the middle of the sea and completely away from the coast.
Ni siquiera me dio tiempo de quitarme la ropa, solo me quité los zapatos y me lancé al agua. El agua más cristalina y con la arena más blanca que he visto en mi vida. Impresionantemente, aunque teníamos como 15 minutos viajando en la lancha, nos bajamos y el agua nos llegaba hasta la cintura. Aquí se estacionan muchos botes, lanchas y yates, y creo que lo único malo es la presencia de los comerciantes, que incluso aquí llegan a ofrecer comida y bebidas. Creo que lo malo no es su presencia, sino su insistencia, pero igual logramos ignorarlos y pasar un buen momento bajo 360...
I didn't even have time to take off my clothes, I just took off my shoes and jumped into the water. The water was the clearest and with the whitest sand I have ever seen in my life. Impressively, even though we had about 15 minutes on the boat, we got off and the water was up to our waists. Many boats, motorboats and yachts are parked here, and I think the only bad thing is the presence of merchants, who even come here to offer food and drinks. I think the bad thing is not their presence, but their insistence, but we still managed to ignore them and had a good time under 360...
Mi esposa no se quería bajar de la lancha, le parecía muy complicado el pensar en volver a subirse luego, y sí tenía algo de razón, luego lo comprobé 😅 pero luego de tomarnos varias fotos a todos los del grupo se contagio de aventura y se lanzó al agua también, y eso me hizo muy feliz, quería vivir la experiencia junto a ella y vaya que valió la pena, de hecho mi teléfono también se lanzó al agua, jajaja, no podía dejar de fotografiarnos en este paraíso tropical...
My wife did not want to get off the boat, it seemed very complicated to think about getting back on later, and yes she was right, I later checked 😅 but after taking several pictures of all of us in the group she got infected with adventure and jumped into the water too, and that made me very happy, I wanted to live the experience with her and it was worth it, in fact my phone also jumped into the water, hahaha, I could not stop photographing us in this tropical paradise....
Estuvimos Bajo 360 aproximadamente media hora, pero fue una experiencia para toda la vida. Como les dije al principio, ya había tenido un Viernes de encanto y a penas estaba comenzando nuestro Sábado, luego de 360 nos esperaban más maravillas por seguir descubriendo. Para otros de mis amigos era volver a un lugar que los cautivó en el pasado, de hecho mi esposa ya había estado cerca de aquí, pero para mí todo fue una novedad. Estas fotografías son bastante superficiales, las mejores vivencias se quedan en nuestras mentes para siempre...
We were under 360 for about half an hour, but it was an experience of a lifetime. As I told you at the beginning, I had already had a Friday of enchantment and our Saturday was just beginning, after 360 more wonders awaited us to continue discovering. For some of my friends it was a return to a place that had captivated them in the past, in fact my wife had been here before, but for me it was all a novelty. These photographs are quite superficial, the best experiences remain in our minds forever...
