¡Feliz inicio de semana, amigos! ¿Qué tal estuvo su día? Si les soy sincera mi vida es bastante rutinaria, casi siempre un día se parece al anterior y a veces me quejo por tanta monotonía, hasta que pasan cosas inesperadas con repercusiones no tan positivas 🥲. Antes que nada, ¡no se asusten!, gracias a Dios todos en casa estamos bien, pero hoy mi esposo me tuvo que acompañar de emergencia a una clínica cercana, pues mi papá no ha tenido un buen comienzo de año en cuanto a la salud se refiere, pero afortunadamente Dios nunca nos abandona y hemos podido tomar las medidas necesarias para que esto no empeore.
Resulta que mis padres estaban de viaje y a principios de año, un día "normal" como cualquier otro, mi papá comienza a sentir un fuerte dolor de barriga, se siente lleno de gases y se le dificulta expulsarlos. Como buena familia Latinoamericana , mi mamá consiguió unas matas especiales en el tema de gases y le hizo un té, pero ese día continuó el malestar entonces decidieron ir al médico al día siguiente. Llegada la mañana se van al médico y le inyectan un remedio para contrarrestar los síntomas, pero continúa empeorando y la barriga la tenía super hinchada, así que lo tuvieron que movilizar en una ambulancia para ser ingresado a emergencias.
Lo complicado de todo esto es que ellos estaban prácticamente de vacaciones, por lo que no teníamos los medios económicos para alargar su estancia allá, pero tampoco podía viajar así, entonces le mandan otro tratamiento y le dan el alta. Se cumple con el tratamiento y comienza a ver algunas mejoras y es cuando se decide que regresen a Maturín para poder chequearse con un especialista, donde afortunadamente encontré una clínica con una promoción en consulta y eco abdominal por un monto bastante razonable. Nos dieron cita para hoy, y el diagnóstico que le dieron fue: Colón irritable. Vamos a ver cómo evoluciona con este nuevo tratamiento. Este fue otro día "normal" en mi vida 😅

It turns out that my parents were traveling and at the beginning of the year, a "normal" day like any other, my dad began to feel a strong pain in his stomach, he felt full of gas and it was difficult for him to expel it. As a good Latin American family, my mom got some special herbs for gas and made him a tea, but that day the discomfort continued so they decided to go to the doctor the next day. In the morning they went to the doctor and injected him with a remedy to counteract the symptoms, but he continued to get worse and his belly was super swollen, so they had to take him in an ambulance to be admitted to the emergency room.
The complicated part of all this is that they were practically on vacation, so we did not have the economic means to extend their stay there, but they could not travel like that, so they sent him another treatment and he was discharged. He complies with the treatment and begins to see some improvements and that is when it is decided to return to Maturin to check with a specialist, where fortunately I found a clinic with a promotion in consultation and abdominal ultrasound for a very reasonable amount. They gave us an appointment for today, and the diagnosis they gave him was: irritable colon. We will see how it evolves with this new treatment. This was another "normal" day in my life 😅.
