Hi everyone! hope you are well! as I told many people in the Hivefest we were not staying in Split, in fact we were staying in Čiovo Island, an island that is very close by bus or car to the beautiful city of Trogir (Croatia), unlike Split (where the Hivefest was taking place) which was an hour away by boat but before the boat we had to take a bus from the apartment to Trogir or Slatine, I hope you understood me haha.
Y la verdad es que no me quejo, Čiovo al igual que Trogir me encantaron, especialmente porque hay una linda playa muy cerca desde el apartamento que rentamos, el cual tenía una vista espectacular al mar y también podíamos ver los aviones despegar y aterrizar desde la terraza así que me dí cuenta que realmente puedo pasar un buen rato viendo los aviones, también teníamos una tienda muy cerca que abre muy temprano por lo que mi esposo iba a comprar pan para el desayuno mientras yo me quedaba con Olivia y preparaba el café.
And the truth is that I am not complaining, Čiovo as well as Trogir I loved, especially because there is a nice beach very close from the apartment we rented, which had a spectacular view of the sea and we could also see the planes take off and land from the terrace so I realized that I can really have a good time watching the planes, we also had a store very close that opens very early so my husband was going to buy bread for breakfast while I stayed with Olivia and prepared the coffee.
Algo que me sorprendió mucho en Croacia es ver en varias casas árboles de Olivas, al igual que árboles de la planta granada y limón (debe ser genial solo ir al frente de tu casa y tomar unos limones para hacer limonada jajaja, también ví en muchas casas unas flores muy bonitas que aunque no sé el nombre me gustó mucho y una cosa que no me gustó es que los caminos para los peatones en las calles eran muy pequeños, quiero decir, para mí está bien, pero no si vas con un bebé en un cochecito, por lo que mi esposo era el encargado de llevar a Olivia jajaja.
Something that surprised me a lot in Croatia is to see olive trees in several houses, as well as pomegranate and lemon trees (it must be great just to go to the front of your house and take some lemons to make lemonade hahaha), I also saw in many houses some very nice flowers that although I do not know the name I really liked and one thing I did not like is that the pedestrian walkways in the streets were very small, I mean, for me it is ok, but not if you go with a baby in a stroller, so my husband was in charge of carrying Olivia hahahaha.
En Croacia vimos muchos atardeceres hermosos, y un día las nubes tomaron una forma espectacular y les cuento que al igual que aviones también veíamos muchas lanchas andando o pequeños botes en el mar. Čiovo, Trogir, Split y Croacia nos encantaron, y espero poco a poco irles mostrando todos los lugares hermosos que visitamos, sin duda fue el destino perfecto para celebrar el Hivefest este año. Por cierto, no confíen mucho en el clima allí, porque algunas veces decía que estaba cayendo una tormenta pero la verdad es que nisiquiera caían gotas o apenas caían unas pequeñas por poco rato.
In Croatia we saw many beautiful sunsets, and one day the clouds took a spectacular shape and I tell you that as well as airplanes we also saw many boats walking or small boats in the sea. Čiovo, Trogir, Split and Croatia enchanted us, and I hope little by little to show you all the beautiful places we visited, without a doubt it was the perfect destination to celebrate Hivefest this year. By the way, don't trust too much in the weather there, because sometimes it said that a storm was falling but the truth is that not even drops fell or just a few small ones for a short time.
