¡Hola Chicos!
El año terminó súper genial, lo disfruté mucho en compañía de mi esposo y nuestro hijo. Comimos delicioso y además vivimos un rato súper agradable.
Me dormí como a las 3 de la mañana pero a eso de las 6 y media desperté con un malestar horrible en el estómago, algo me había hecho daño, así que luego de batallar para dormir lo logré.
Mi mañana fue nula, desperté como a las 11, les redacté mi post y volví a dormirme. No estaba tan preocupada por ponerme a hacer cosas pues para mi representaba el último día de descanso.
Se vienen días nuevamente agitados y lo que menos quería era estar mortificándome por responsabilidades en casa. Así que tomé mi siesta y desperté como a las 2 de la tarde.

The year ended super cool, I enjoyed it a lot with my husband and our son. We ate delicious food and also had a great time.
I fell asleep at about 3am but at about 6.30am I woke up with a horrible feeling in my stomach, something had hurt me, so after struggling to sleep I managed to get to sleep.
My morning was nil, I woke up at about 11, wrote my post and went back to sleep. I wasn't too worried about getting things done as for me it represented the last day of rest.
There are hectic days ahead and the last thing I wanted was to be mortified by responsibilities at home. So I took my nap and woke up around 2pm.
Para el almuerzo contábamos con el famoso recalentado. Teníamos comida en la nevera lista para comerse, así que la saqué calenté un poco y ya.
Los protagonistas eran pernil cocinado en leña que nos había enviado el tío de mi esposo. Siempre está pendiente de enviarnos algo a casa con un trabajador de su hermano y nosotros estamos felices de siempre contar con su apoyo.
Este pernil estaba divino, sabía a parrilla. ♥ También nos envió una ensalada de gallina que estaba muy sabrosa también.
Por otro lado teníamos pan de jamón de los que hice el día anterior y hallacas de las que aún nos quedaban. Estamos en cuenta regresiva, solo nos quedan 4 y estamos: 😞. Pero esperamos pronto poder hacer de nuevo.
Yo me sentía un poco mejor, así que aproveché de disfrutar de este gran banquete, por supuesto con mi cara de amanecida jajaja.
For lunch we were counting on the famous reheating. We had food in the fridge ready to eat, so I took it out, heated it up a bit and that was it.
The stars were the pernil cooked on firewood that my husband's uncle had sent us. He is always sending us something home with one of his brother's workers and we are always happy to have his support.
This pernil was divine, it tasted like a barbecue. He also sent us a chicken salad which was also very tasty.
On the other hand we had some of the ham bread I made the day before and some of the hallacas we still had left. We are counting down, we only have 4 left and we are 😞. But we hope soon to be able to make them again.
I was feeling a bit better, so I took the opportunity to enjoy this great feast, of course with my morning face hahaha.
Luego de comer decidí salir a disfrutar el atardecer. No sé por qué, pero es una necesidad para mi el tener que salir a ver el cielo iluminado en algún momento del día.
Sobre todo en días como estos en los que no salgo a ningún lado. Si no lo hago, quedo con un sentimiento como de tristeza. Es difícil de explicar y la verdad no se si alguien lo entienda.
Me encontré con un atardecer hermoso y colorido. Además una de nuestras plantas de Amarilis estaba comenzando a florecer. Sus hermosas flores naranjas comienzan a darle color a nuestra casa en este nuevo año. ♥
After lunch I decided to go out and enjoy the sunset. I don't know why, but it's a necessity for me to go out and see the sky light up at some point during the day.
Especially on days like these when I don't go out anywhere. If I don't, I am left with a feeling of sadness. It's hard to explain and I don't know if anyone will understand.
I came across a beautiful and colourful sunset. Also one of our Amaryllis plants was starting to bloom. Its beautiful orange flowers are starting to add colour to our house in this new year. ♥
Y para finalizar el día con dulzura, me provocó preparar un pequeño pastel.
Yo ya tengo mi método y lo hice súper rápido, lo llevé al horno en mi molde nuevo y ahí se tardo casi dos horas en estar listo... 😩 Jajajaja es que por ser un molde alto, demora más en hacerse.
La idea era comerlo de postre luego de la comida, pero terminó siendo nuestra cena. Le coloqué algunas gotas de chocolate que me habían quedado del pastel anterior y chispas de colores para que tuviera color y alegría.
Para complementar, lo comimos con unas bolas de helado, el que había comprado en días anteriores.
Así finalizó nuestro día con dulzura, nada saludable, lo sé. 😂
And to end the day on a sweet note, I was prompted to make a little cake.
I already have my method and I made it super fast, I took it to the oven in my new cake tin and it took almost two hours to be ready.... 😩 Hahahaha it's just that because it's a tall cake tin, it takes longer to bake.
The idea was to eat it for dessert after lunch, but it ended up being our dinner. I added some chocolate drops that I had left over from the previous cake and coloured sprinkles to give it some colour and joy.
To top it off, we ate it with some scoops of ice cream, which I had bought a few days before.
Thus ended our day with sweetness, not at all healthy, I know 😂.
Dije que era mi último día de vacaciones pues tengo muchos pendientes por hacer en los siguientes días. Se vienen nuevos retos, nuevas responsabilidades y como todo, necesita una planificación previa.
Les estaré compartiendo como siempre todos mis progresos y anécdotas. Por ahora les puedo decir que disfruté mi último día de vacaciones. Han sido días maravillosos de descanso que definitivamente necesitaba con urgencia.
Espero este año contar con una mejor organización para poder traerlos a mi nuevamente y más seguido.
Por ahora me despido y les envío las mejores vibras. ✨♥
I said it was my last day of holidays because I have a lot of things to do in the next few days. New challenges are coming, new responsibilities and like everything, it needs a previous planning.
I will be sharing with you as always all my progress and anecdotes. For now I can tell you that I enjoyed my last day of holidays. They have been wonderful days of rest that I definitely needed urgently.
I hope this year I will have a better organization to be able to bring you to me again and more often.
