Bucket List Check:My Dream Destinations

Life is short not to have some fun and explore the world while you still can. Personally, the idea of having a bucket list has not always appealed to me. I mean, I'm not even an adventurous person, trying new experiences is so hard for me. But, on the other hand, I don't want just breathe in and out everyday until I can't no more, as if it a kind of routine I must complete. I wish to go places I've never been before and interact with the world out there. So to that effect, I've written down just a few places I would love to visit before I die in no particular order.

The Obudu Mountain Resort, Nigeria

Nigeria sure has a lot of tourist sites and view-worthy locations and this resort is one them. It located in Cross River state, southern Nigeria. I am from the eastern part of Nigeria and I have only been to one or two other states and in my country. I would definitely want to start my adventure from here. The resort is not just a place to go and relax for a typical weekend getaway. It's location lies within the deep forests of cross river, which means you get to see a lot of nature as you explore and enjoy some fun activities like riding on a horse, swimming in natural pools and most especially enjoying a border view of the neigbouring country, Cameroon.

The Eiffel Tower, Paris

When I was in school, I had this friend that took French language very seriously. We were friends because I also loved french language but turns she also had the dream of visiting Paris to see the Eiffel tower just like I do. This tower is one of the remarkable landmarks in France. It's construction dates back to 1889 and till date, it has remained a dream place for people all over the world.

Yankari Game Reserve

I'm a huge fan of wildlife but guess who has never been the the zoo before? Me! I only enjoy watching them in the National Geographic channel and it ends there. That is why I decided to add the Yankari Game Reserve to my bucket list. It is located in Bauchi state, north-eastern part of Nigeria. It is a national park where tourists come around to enjoy nature in it's habitant. The reserve is the biggest national park in Nigeria and is home to a lot of animals we don't get to see everyday like the elephants, lions and antelopes. The most exciting part is the Wikki warm spring inside the park where visitors can relax and take a swim if they wish to. It is definitely a must-go site of attraction.

Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

The victoria falls is one of the beautiful wonders of nature in the world. This large waterfall is located at the Zambezi river and creates well defined border between Zimbabwe and the neighboring country Zambia. I definitely want to see the endless fall of the water and the thunderous sound as it falls. It'll also be wonderful to see more wildlife and enjoy other fun activities during the guided tours around the water fall.

Table Mountain Park, CapeTown South Africa

South Africa hosts this natural and touristic site where visitors are free to do some climbing up the flat mountain and enjoy the view of the beautiful city at a height. The cable car option is what I'll surely want to try out because I don't think I'll have enough stamina to climb a huge mountain but I'll like to have an open mind too, it's all about the adventure. There are other fun activities available at the park like visiting the Boulders beach which is famous for hosting a lot of penguins.

These are just a few places I want to visit while I still can and maybe you do too. I can't help but get excited as the list gets better with every of the items on it. I hope to work toward making my adventurous journey throughout the world and making memories that will last a lifetime.
