Hola querida comunidad de LifeStyle, les saludo en este día y les comparto un paseo que hicimos mi familia y yo a las playas de Puerto Progreso. Esta playa se encuentra en la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán, la cual es muy visitada por las personas locales y turistas. Ahí puede uno encontrar mucho comercio, restaurantes, palapas, hoteles, pero una de las cosas que más llama la atención es que la playa es muy bonita y sus aguas son muy tranquilas. A mí me encanta la playa y cada vez que podemos ir la visitamos para darnos una remojada y refrescarnos un poco. A nosotros nos queda muy cerca, aproximadamente como a 25 minutos. Solo que en esta ocasión decidimos visitarla porque vimos que en las redes sociales anunciaban que había un festival de papagayos y cometas y como a Diego, el más pequeño de mis hijos, le encantan los cometas, quisimos sorprenderlo. Normalmente cada año hacen este tipo de evento. También había música en vivo y un saxofonista que tocaba muy bonito. Muchos disfrutaron de este espectáculo pero también muchos aprovecharon el día para meterse a la playa, ya que estábamos como a 38 grados más o menos. También muchos aprovecharon para sacar a dar una vuelta a sus mascotas. En esta ocasión nosotros no llevamos a las nuestras pero para la próxima que volvamos a ir a la playa seguro las llevaremos ya que les encanta correr en la arena. Hello dear LifeStyle community, I greet you on this day and share a trip that my family and I made to the beaches of Puerto Progreso. This beach is located in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, which is very visited by locals and tourists. There you can find a lot of commerce, restaurants, palapas, hotels, but one of the things that most attracts attention is that the beach is very beautiful and its waters are very calm. I love the beach and every time we can go we visit it to take a dip and refresh ourselves a bit. It is very close to us, approximately 25 minutes away. Only on this occasion did we decide to visit it because we saw on social media that there was a kite and kite festival and since Diego, the youngest of my sons, loves kites, we wanted to surprise him. Normally, they do this type of event every year. There was also live music and a saxophonist who played very beautifully. Many enjoyed this show, but many also took advantage of the day to go to the beach since it was about 38 degrees more or less. Many also took the opportunity to take their pets for a walk. On this occasion we did not bring ours but next time we go to the beach we will surely bring them as they love to run in the sand. Here I show you the kites and kites.

1. Aquí llegando a la playa nos encontramos con un letrero de Progreso♥. También encontramos una estatua de flamencos rosas, eso en honor a que cerca de aquí, en la zona de manglares, se pueden ver manadas de ellos y aunque se ven todo el año, la temporada donde se pueden ver más es de el mes de diciembre a marzo, ya que se dice que es cuando el nivel del agua es más bajo y hace que las condiciones sean ideales para esta especie que no nada, sino que caminan.

Although they can be seen all year round, the season when you can see the most is from December to March, since it is said that this is when the water level is lowest and makes the conditions ideal for this species that does not swim, but walks.

2. Por último, dimos una caminata por el malecón, ahí pudimos ver algunos de los restaurantes más populares de Puerto Progreso. Uno de ellos es la Casa de Pastel y Viña del Mar, en los dos restaurantes encontrarás variedad de carnes y mariscos. Y ya por último, vimos la puesta de sol, donde pudimos disfrutar los bellos colores que se enmarcan en el cielo cuando el sol se oculta, realmente maravilloso.
