Recently, one major update changes how Farms, Ranches, Megafarms, Seedling Citadels and Acropolis work: previously their most notable feature was to produce DBLN daily, enabling their owners to get a passive income... however, this steady flux of new printed DBLN turned out to be unsustainable for the game, with the whole economy of the game collapsing on itself.
That's why these buildings are slowly but surely being reworked into "goods facilities", producing various items, such as wheat, hay, chickens, bread, apples and so on.
This items can be consumed or used to produce more complex items, which can be later sold on the market for DBLN.
This means that no more DBLN are printed by these buildings and that their owners will need to actively partecipate in the game, following the market, producing and selling what is needed, and using resourcers and energy to keep their facilities working.
Personally, I already set by Ranches and Megafarms to produce times I need - or will need - like bread and wheat to recharge my energy!
