Have a great day, dear friends. I hope you are all well. Today is the last day of this week, and I have come up with another delicious recipe. I am going to prepare a snack that we all enjoy in our spare time. This snack is primarily made with chickpea flour, to which I have added rice flour to enhance its crispy quality. Both chickpea flour and rice flour are nutritious. Moreover, the snacks we buy from the market are often full of artificial flavors. Therefore, let's prepare this nutritious murukku snack without any flavorings and find out what ingredients are needed.
Materials Used.
Chickpea flour 100g.
2 Tablespoons of rice flour.
1/2 Teaspoon of Cumin.
1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Some curry leaves.
1/4 Teaspoon of baking soda.
Water 50ml.
Chop about 3 ripe chilli pods.
Coconut oil for frying.
Method of making.
Now first take a bowl and add chickpea flour to it.
Next, add rice flour, cumin, turmeric powder, salt and baking powder to it.
Then add water little by little and mix well. Make a batter so that it is as thick as shown in the picture below.
Next we take a piping bag and hold it over a cup.
Next, take the prepared chickpea flour batter in the piping bag and pour some into it.
Next, take a bowl and add coconut oil to it. Then put it on the stove and after the oil is hot, cut the ends of the piping bag thinly and bend it into a round shape. Fry it until golden..As in the following images.
Then fry curry leaves and chilli pieces in the same oil.
Then we mix all this well.
This is how to prepare this very clean and delicious snack at home. You can add chili powder and salt to your desired amount to make it spicy. It can be easily prepared without much cost. It’s a quick snack that we can add to our meals at leisure or take on a picnic. This snack can be kept for a week and enjoyed anytime. I hope you will try this recipe too. So, I'll say goodbye for today until we meet again. Have a good day!
