But with this recipe I will start making and prove that it turns out that the skin that we usually throw away can be a delicious jam that we can make as a complementary ingredient on your dining table.
I never imagined that I could make jam from dragon fruit peels. But again this curiosity became a result that satisfied my bavi, even though this was the first time but the dragon fruit skin turned out to be very valuable if processed like this. Mixing granulated sugar as a complementary sweetener with the natural sourness of lemon juice is the right combination for the jam I made. The most special thing is that the color is so attractive that it is enough to add my excitement when I will enjoy anything at home.
Ingredients Used
50 grams of granulated sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
100 ml water
Making Procedure
Clean the skin of the dragon fruit, remove the skin that feels outside.
Then cut the skin into small pieces so that it is easily crushed when in a blender.
After being cut into small pieces, then put them in a blender, then add blender water until perfectly smooth.
Add the dragon fruit skin juice in a cooking pan.
Then add sugar, then add lemon juice stir until evenly distributed.
It's time to cook turn on the stove flame then cook until the jam thickens.
If there is no more water, it means that the jam is perfectly cooked.
Result
Dragon fruit peel jam is ready to be served, ahhh I'm happy and happy it tastes so good. The legit sweetness with the acid from the lemon is enough to give an extraordinary sensation.
