Mango is a very popular and easily available fruit in Sri Lanka these days.and these daya we can see mango trees in many houses. And you can buy plenty of mangoes in the market. When the mangoes are ripe, they can be eaten as a tasty fruit and raw mango can be eaten as a curry.One more thing to say, not every type of mango sold in the market can be prepared as a curry. When you buy mangoes, ask the shopkeeper.

.Are these raw mangoes cooked and eaten as a curry?

. Or is it a mangoes that is eaten as a ripe fruit?

There are different types of mangoes used for cooking. Use mangoes which have a normal sour taste in cooking. This way you can prepare your mango curry deliciously.


Ripe mangoes have a wonderful taste, don't they? But do you know that raw mangoes are more nutritious than ripe mangoes?

It contains nutrients such as carbohydrates, vitamins A, C, calcium, iron and zinc. Also, eating mangoes makes digestion easier for the digestive system and controls the sugar level in the blood. It is also important to say that eating mangoes prepared in this way increases our appetite.

Method

1.step

First, wash and clean the raw mango.

2. step

Now cut the mango into pieces without removing the peel. Mmm I love to eat raw mango pickles. My mouth is watering when I cut them.

Now add chopped green chillies, large onions, curry leaves and pandan leaves .

4. step

ok Now let's add the spices used for this. chili flakes, chili powder, turmeric powder, unroasted curry powder, fenugreek seeds and Add two teaspoon of salt powder.

Now mix all well

Now keep the pot on the wood stove.

7.step

When its get hot add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil .

8.step

when coconut oil gets hot add 1 tsp of mustard seeds.
Now add to the pot mango mixture Add about 100ml of water, close the lid and simmer for about 15 minutes.

9.step

After 15 minutes add 2 tablespoons of sugar .and mix it well and slowly .


πŸ˜‹ Mmmm, the mango curry is ready. Look at its mouth-watering appearance, isn't it? Do you want to taste it too? By adding more pieces of chillies you can get a good color like this. Also, if the taste of mango curry is too sour, add some more sugar.

You can see two colors of the sugar I used. Don't overthink it. Our mother put brown sugar in the white sugar bottleπŸ˜‚ .Can be eaten with rice of any meal time.
