This is my love for Manchurian. I like Manchurian so much. Even Manchurian fixed my mood and make me happy.

And today I'm so excited to share the recipe of my most favourite dish gravy Manchurian.

Manchurian is a indo-chinese dish , in which we enjoyed fried veggies balls with sweet, tangy sauce. There are 2 types of Manchurian recipe, one is dry Manchurian and second is garvy Manchurian.

Today i would like to share the recipe of gravy Manchurian. Which i divided in 2 parts:

  2. making Manchurian sause/gravy

First let's see the recipe of Manchurian balls :

Ingredients ✅

Cabbage 1
Carrot 1
Onion 2
Salt 1/2 tbsp
Black papper 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste (optional)
Oil ( for fried the balls)
Maida ( purpose flour) 4 tbsp
Corn starch 2 tbsp

You can add capsicum, beans also to make the Manchurian balls. This time i skipped it to make balls.

Method ✅

Step 1 :

Take all veggies and finely chopped them.

You can grate the veggies or chopped in the chopper. I always prefer to chopped in chooper.

One by one chopped all veggies, first i chooped cabbage, than onion and carrot. Add them in a big vessel.

Step 2:

Now add salt, black pepper and ginger garlic paste. ( Add less quantity of salt and paste ).

Mix it and add purpose flour and corn starch.

Try to add purpose flour little by little as required. Add as much that you can make balls.

Step 3 :

Now make balls . You can make balls as big or small as you want.

Keep all the balls ready like this.

Step 4 :

Take a kadai and heat the oil in it. When the oil gets hot enough add balls to fried.

First add a small ball in it , if the ball breaks , add some more purpose flour for binding.

Keep flame medium and fried all balls . In one batch you can fried 4-5 balls.

Like this fried all balls .

This time i fired balls to 80 % . Because i make Manchurian balls in the noon.

Than in the evening i again fried them.

Now the fried balls or Manchurian ball is ready. You can fry 100% in one go, or you can use 80-20 method.

Now let's see the recipe of sauce;

Ingredients:

Oil 2 tbsp
Garlic 15-20 cloves
Capsicum 1
Onion 2
Ginger
Green chilli 2-3
Spring onion
Dark sauya sauce
Green chilli sauce
Red chilli sauce
Sezwan chutney
Tomato ketchup
Manchurian masala (optional)
Cornflour 1 tbsp

Step 1 :

First i take garlic colves and chopped them finely.

Than i cut onion and capsicum like this :

Than i cut spring onion, ginger and green chilli :

Here all preparation are done for sauce.

Step 2 :

Now take a kadai or pan and heat on the gas :

Now add 2 tbsp oil like this and heat on the high flame.

Step 2 :

Add ginger , garlic , green chilli, onion and capsicum one by one like this :

Cook all well for 1-2 minute on the high flame, add capsicum and spring onion.

Step 3 :

Now again cook it for 1 minute and add sauces.

Step 4 :

Stir and mix very well. Now add 1.5 cup water and boil the mixture.

Step 5 :

Now take 1 tbsp cornflour , 2 tbsp water and mix very well in a bowl. Make a paste.

Now add that paste and in the mixture and mix well so there is no lumps.

Continue to stir and cook till sunce thicknes. There should be no raw taste of cornflour.

Step 6:

It took 3-4 mintues, if you find that sauce is too thick add some more water and cook it. Add Manchurian masala in it. Or you can add salt and black pepper instead of Manchurian masala.
Again cook for 1 minute.

Now add fried balls in it and gently mix with sauce.

Turn off the flame, garnish it with spring onion and enjoyed with your loved ones 😀.

You can enjoyed it with fried rice or sezwan rice. This time i cooked fried rice with it.
