Today i would like to share the recipe of besan bread toast. This is a quick and delicious and healthy breakfast recipe which is made with besan(gram flour), bread, vegetables and spices.

Bread toast can be made in various ways, rava Toast, cheese toast , eggs toast and so on. Besan toast is also a yummiest way to satisfy the hunger.

You can use any type of bread , but i always prefer wheat bread. You can also add vegetables according to your taste and availability. It turned soggy after few time, so enjoying hot is the best 😉

This time i used onion, tomato, green chilli and for a healthy twist add spinach leaves . I picked spinach leaves from my garden and add in the batter. So it become healthy and more delicious for my baby and all members :⁠-⁠)

Ingredients for besan bread Toast:

Gram flour ( besan) 2 cup
Bread slices 8-10
Oil
Onion 2 medium size
Tomato 1
Green chilli 2
Spinach leaves
Coriander leaves
Salt 1 tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Carom seeds
Fenugreek leaves
One pinch hing
Water

Method:

preparation:

  • To make besan bread toast first take a large bowl and put the gram flour in it. I add 2 cup gram flour.

  • Add all spices ; add salt, red chilli powder, ajwain (carrom seeds), Fenugreek leaves , hing.

Mix all spices in the gram flour.

  • With water make the batter.

  • Make a thick batter.

  • On the other side cut the vegetables. I liked to chopped vegetables in the chopper. Finely chopped vegetables taste well in this recipe.

  • Because i want to make it more healthy I add spinach leaves.

I also chopped it in the chopper.

  • Add all chopped vegetables in the gram flour batter.

All preparations are done ✅. Now make the toast.

Process:

  • Take a non-stick pan or tawa. Spread some drops of oil with brush when the tawa is hot enough.

  • Now dip the bread slice in the batter.

  • Put it on the hot tawa.

  • On a low flame cook it for some seconds. And flip the bread slices.

  • Cooked from both side until the batter completely cooked.

  • Serve it hot 😋

  • You can also cut to the Toast in 2 or 4 pieces for serve.

  • Enjoyed with tomato sauce or other chutney with your loved one 😉
