Have you ever watched your own shadow? It's on the ground, on the roadway, or on the flower walls. They come in different shapes, depending on the time and the plane factor that the shadow hits. Sometimes it's big and sometimes it's small, high and low, clear and blurred, etc. There are so many different versions that you suddenly wonder "who am I?"
Giant Shadows
Sometimes, we mistake ourselves for being great... that nobody understands our thoughts and we can't share anything with them. And we dream that one day we will make those people gasp. Nothing can be claimed on that point as many people could achieve their wish. However, some others just stay in the imagination. They start to perform some tricks to make themselves truly great, dress up like superstars, go live to show their properties, and constantly make speeches to tell us how great they are and call us to join in their training courses, etc.
Then we sink into far-fetched, illusory, and unrealistic dreams that the day we will be stars will not be far away. We look at our shadow under shining light and think we are great, but no action.
Tiny Shadows
No matter how long we immerse ourselves in the imagination, reality will slap on our faces too heavily to dream any more. Everyone has difficulties in life, stress, conflicts in relationships and that will pull us back to the harsh fact.
Even the dizzying growth of social media makes us feel so small. People always take care of their image online with their beautiful styles, great success stories in professional work and life. And as a reflection, have you ever felt defeated while seeing them achieve their dream and you are still stuck in our own darkness watching people live their fancy life.
