It's rainy season here, but today is sunny.
My toddler was playing at the veranda, and I needed to see what she was playing with.
I went outside and found my little daughter having the time of her life; not with her toy, but with shadows.
She was playing around, hitting the shadows with her tiny legs and observed that the shadows didn't move and probably wondering how something that isn't even solid could be so interesting.
It reminded me that children don't always need expensive toys to have fun. Sometimes, all they need is a little space, sunlight, and their beautiful imagination.
As adults, we often look for entertainment in complicated things, while children can find joy in the simplest moments.
Today, my daughter taught me a little lesson:
Happiness doesn't always need to be bought. Sometimes, you just have to look around and play.
Enjoy our beautiful shadows entry.
