Writing this post at 12 am on Tuesday because I know today will have so many things to write about. Today is my cousin’s birthday and she has been preparing for this for so long. She says it has given her anxiety.
I’m sitting with her right now and I wasn’t even the first to wish her. I guess I will do it later when I’m giving her a gift. Lemme leave this post for later.
The day started as usual. My aunt said we should go to a new apartment she has rented to do some cleaning before she finally moves in. We have been doing that for a couple of weeks now.
We stopped by the mall because she wanted to get a gift for my cousin and we waited for her for about 30 minutes.

When we finally got to the apartment, it was already past 1 pm.
We planned to leave there at 3 pm because it takes over an hour to go back home. It’s 5:32 now and we are now leaving. Hungry and tired.

We got home an hour and 23 minutes later. We were already late or so we thought because my sister called and asked us to hurry up.
So we went in and got dressed and we still had to wait for the birthday girl.
We had made reservations at the restaurant for 8 pm and we left home at 8:40.

When we arrived, two of my cousin’s friends were in already and we waited for a couple more. We were 10 in total.
I was starving cause I only had breakfast so I was eagerly waiting for them to serve the food.

My cousin had stepped out with a friend to take pictures and when she returned, she was surprised with a saxophone performance. She was literally in tears.
They brought the food after a while and we were to serve ourselves.
We began with the appetizer which was salad and some type of spaghetti.
No one really knew what they were eating but we just did something to represent something.
Then we had some fried rice with steak and fish. That was what I was actually able to eat.
For the dessert, we had chocolate cake, a slice of orange and slices of watermelon.
But before we had the dessert, I went to the bathroom to try and get a few pictures of myself else I wouldn’t have anything to put on here.
We spent some time taking pictures and videos of the birthday girl whilst she danced to the tune of the saxophone.
Later came the cake. We took turns in helping her cut it but by then, everyone was already full. We just ate tiny pieces of it and we had to leave because the restaurant was to close at 11 and it was past 11:30pm.
Moreover, my cousin was going with her friends and my sister to the night club to dance away the rest of the night.
They dropped me home with my aunt, got changed again and headed out with the rest of the girls.
This few hours out got me so exhausted because already, being around a lot of people makes me tired. Another fun thing too was that, almost all my cousin’s friends were my friends too. One was a former classmate from junior high and another from senior high school. It was nice seeing them again.
