After getting home from work, we received a message inviting us to dinner and a night of drinking at their house. We showered and got dressed before riding over. Actually, it was just a few minutes away from home.
When we got there, the table was ready for dinner. They cooked scrambled eggs, longganiza, sausage, and fried rice. You guys may think it's for breakfast, and yes, we usually have this kind of dinner when we're at this friend's house.
We could smell the aroma from the table, and we started eating dinner when everyone was present. We had to wait for a few more friends to come over before we started eating. Then, someone brought a tub of Carbonara for dinner tonight. We also bought some gin for the drinking session afterward.
We started the feast with some kimchi as a side dish. As the dinner went on, we shared not only good food but also laughter and life stories. We talked about all the funny, sad, and memorable experiences we had in the past days. We laughed at corny jokes. All while we ate a good dinner together. We will definitely plan something like this again.
