Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I am here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, Today, I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. This week we have a topic that goes by the theme "writing anything amazing about the Splinterlands game". I will be sharing a battle with you guys, and I hope you guys are ready to read and learn from my strategy used in battling my opponents. Without much ado, let's dive into the topic straight forward.
Per the ruleset of the game, Monsters lose all abilities. I used my account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver league of the Wild Format. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.
Battle Ruleset
Ruleset Icon | Description |
---|---|
All Monsters have 2 Armor in addition to their normal Armor stat. Use magic attacks, but the opponent will do the same, so focus on HP. It is countered by Rust or Wizard of Eastwood's summoner ability. | |
Monsters lose all abilities. Back-row monsters are safe from the enemy's Sneak, Snipe, and Opportunity attacks. The ruleset emphasizes Magic and Ranged attacks as melee attacks lose their ability to hit outside of the first position. Select monsters with high speed and choose a summoner that increases damage or defense against Magic or Ranged attacks. Lining up monsters in ascending order of their health is the way to go. |

Summoner:
I chose the "OBSIDIAN" summoner. It was a 22-mana game condition and I had to manage my card selection to suit that. I chose the OBSIDIAN summoner so that my monsters would have an increase in magic attack. I made sure I had three magic attack monsters in my lineup. My team lineup comprised the following; Quora Towershead, Magi of Chaos, Khmer Princess, and Fungus Fiend. I placed Quora Towershead in the first position so it could attack double in other to eliminate my opponent's monsters faster.
1st Position:
Quora Towershead, this card has the magic attack ability and also the melee attack damage as well. It is a 10-mana monster with a speed of 3, 2 magic attack damage attack and 3 melee attack damage, and 10 health with 0 armor protection.
Round 1:
First, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining an extra magic attack. My opponent's lineup comprised four monsters including the Fungus Fiend, Magi of Chaos, Acid Shooter, and Quora Towershead.
In the first round, the Quora Towershead's monster attached my first-position monster after which my Quora Towershead attacked and eliminated the Fungus Fiend monster in my opponent's first-position lineup. Khmer Princess after subsequent attacks eliminated the Magi of Chaos monster in my oppoenet's lineup.
Round 2:
In this round, as usual, the Quora Towershaed monster of my opponent attacked first, after which My Quora Towershead monster attacked and eliminated the Acid Shooter monster with the magic attack.
At the end of the round, I was able to eliminate three of my opponent's monsters in all, and only Quora monster was left.
Round 3:
In this round, only the Quora Towershead monster was left with my opponent and I still had three monsters intact. His Quora was able to eliminate mine with just one magic attack.
Subsequent attacks came from my monsters and at the end of the round, my opponent was left with 6 health monsters to face my three monsters.
Round 4:
In this round, the Quora monster of my opponent was left with just one health and after it attacked and eliminated my Magi of Chaos monster, I was able to eliminate his monster with just magic damage from Khmer Princess.
This was how my battle went and my opponent won it with ease. Scarred the Llmage summoner is always a great choice for the Kron the Undying monster.
