Esta figura es Ezequiel Zamora, y se le pidió como parte de una decoración por las celebraciones de esa semana allá en la escuela.

Ezequiel Zamora es una figura ícono de las luchas que conformaron a Venezuela. Hijo de Paula Correa Rodríguez y de José Alejandro Zamora Pereira quien luchó y murió en la Guerra de Independencia. Fue un militar y político radical de la Guerra Federal que cubrió a Venezuela entre 1859 y 1863, que propugnaba una regia transformación agraria a favor de los campesinos, quienes merecían su tierra para el sustento y desarrollo, y sería el camino para darles libertad de acción.
Conocido como el primer caudillo popular del siglo XIX, líder del Partido Federal y jefe del Movimiento Federalista; se lleva registro que era reconocido como un verdadero e indomable héroe popular.

I made the base of the drawing, slightly giving it its appearance, using the hb pencil.
Then I defined the drawing better, both his suit and his features.
With the 2b pencil I started to apply light shadows in certain areas, such as the suit and hair, and parts of the face, giving volume to the drawing.
I detailed the suit by applying the 2b pencil in the same way, but with a stiffer pulse. I also darkened other lines of the drawing, as well as areas.
With the 3b I began to apply more contrast to the whole drawing, both the suit and the face and hair, culminating with the details.
I made a simple background, degrading the pencil around the drawing, with a 4b pencil.
