Nature Card Breakdown, Trial Of The Gods Set (March 2022)

23.png
Not a lot has changed, except seeing an uptick with particular cards. It is also interesting to note that this set is underutilized, at least according to the statistics of nature sets. As usual, you can find the spread sheet at the bottom. That said, let us dive into the Trial of the Gods nature cards Breakdown.

2.png

Chiron, the Teacher

Chiron has reeded this month in overall play rate in all tiers. However, this card holds the highest win rate in all levels of play. I still believe it's a premier opener for nature decks, and that is not about to change anytime soon.

All

  • Play Rate - 3.50%
  • Win Rate - 56.50%
  • Games played - 57,639

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 13.50%
  • Win Rate - 55.60%
  • Games played - 32,124

Price - $100.16

3.png

Blessing of Nature

Blessing of nature took an even bigger hit this month with only 31 games played in mythic; it has the second-worst play rate in this set. The four favor and the regen are laughable, and it shows in its price is one of the cheapest in this set.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.30%
  • Win Rate - 48.10%
  • Games played - 4,209

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.00%
  • Win Rate - 25.80%
  • Games played - 31

Price - $0.50

4.png

Dryad Seer

It is an Amazon, and it draws you a nature card; it's a coin flip if that card would be another amazon. I believe that coinflip nature keeps the dryad seer where it's at, unplayable.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.30%
  • Win Rate - 49.00%
  • Games played - 5,246

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.10%
  • Win Rate - 35.80%
  • Games played - 187

Price - $0.53

5.png

Ornery Goat

This goat has seen better days, it has play rate, and the win rate has seen a massive drop-off from previous months. This is due to nature players having better three cost units, especially after the CSR (Core Set Refresh).

All

  • Play Rate - 3.60%
  • Win Rate - 53.00%
  • Games played - 59,134

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 2.80%
  • Win Rate - 45.80%
  • Games played - 6,580

Price - $2.18

6.png

Steadfast Scout

I will hold my thoughts on this card till we see more Amazon decks out and about. I believe the CSR has hindered this card's chances to get back in the meta as there are newer Amazon three costs that can take its place.

All

  • Play Rate - 1.00%
  • Win Rate - 51.50%
  • Games played - 15,604

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 1.60%
  • Win Rate - 45.90%
  • Games played - 3,756

Price - $5.21

7.png

Selena's Bow

This month, the bow has taken a back seat because of the fast-paced meta. Also, nature players have many better relics options, such as faefame blade, jaguar staff, and blazing talisman.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.90%
  • Win Rate - 53.50%
  • Games played - 15,498

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 1.70%
  • Win Rate - 48.90%
  • Games played - 3,960

Price - $47.16

8.png

Sudden Rally

This card is ideal for well-situated amazon decks, and if you're operating an Amazon zoo deck, it fits perfectly there. It also synergizes well with other buffing cards such as arkaminion assualt.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.30%
  • Win Rate - 50.10%
  • Games played - 5,096

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.30%
  • Win Rate - 43.70%
  • Games played - 599

Price - $0.65

9.png

Selena, Champion of Nature

Selena's play rate has seen an uptick this month, and it also boasts the second-highest win rate in mythic play. It is a no-brainer card in your deck as a four-cost as nature card.

All

  • Play Rate - 3.10%
  • Win Rate - 56.40%
  • Games played - 50,285

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 12.00%
  • Win Rate - 55.20%
  • Games played - 28,584

Price - $126.20

10.png

Frenzied Ritual

This ritual has seen a significant uptick in play. In my opinion, the baked-in card draw option seems to be the gamechanger. If you're running lightning strikes in your deck, you might want to purchase this card, a cost-effective option with good statistics in all tiers.

All

  • Play Rate - 2.10%
  • Win Rate - 53.10%
  • Games played - 34,877

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 5.00%
  • Win Rate - 49.80%
  • Games played - 11,868

Price - $1.18

11.png

Beast Speaker

There is no change to this card from previous months. It is rarely seen in mythic play and has an abysmal play rate for other tiers.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.60%
  • Win Rate - 52.80%
  • Games played - 9,373

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.50%
  • Win Rate - 46.80%
  • Games played - 1,100

Price - $0.40

12.png

Jaguar Staff

This month, the most played card in all ranks in this set would fall under the premier nature relics. It has seen a little bit of a drawback in play rate due to "falling star" being in the meta.

All

  • Play Rate - 10.80%
  • Win Rate - 55.90%
  • Games played - 177,040

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 28.20%
  • Win Rate - 52.00%
  • Games played - 67,208

Price - $14.46

13.png

Trial of the Hydra

This hydra, mainly slotted into nature regen variations, has seen more play this month. It can change the game in one turn barring your opponent playing a board clear card; timing is critical when playing this card.

All

  • Play Rate - 2.40%
  • Win Rate - 53.40%
  • Games played - 39,707

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 4.70%
  • Win Rate - 49.30%
  • Games played - 11,210

Price - $19.73

14.png

Aeona's Defection

We have arrived at this month's lowest played card in this set. There are better card draw options for nature players, such as celestial stag and valwarden minotaur, which is also a five-cost unit.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.10%
  • Win Rate - 50.10%
  • Games played - 2,347

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.00%
  • Win Rate - 35.70%
  • Games played - 28

Price - $0.65

15.png

Dionysian Bull

This card only sees play in lower tiers, and for a good reason. There are better frontline six cost units such as black rhino and just better cards such as giant pangolin.

All

  • Play Rate - 1.50%
  • Win Rate - 51.70%
  • Games played - 23,757

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.40%
  • Win Rate - 42.50%
  • Games played - 1,013

Price - $0.77

16.png

Enchanted Vines

The Hunt is still the king of removal for nature players at six mana. That said, this card has seen a significant uptick in play, and it also boasts one of the better win rates in this set.

All

  • Play Rate - 5.60%
  • Win Rate - 54.60%
  • Games played - 91,610

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 16.30%
  • Win Rate - 51.90%
  • Games played - 38,965

Price - $2.08

17.png

Caller of the Hunt

This card is picking up steam in lower tiers of play, although still lagging behind in mythic in both play rate and win rate. I believe slotting in this card next to the likes of "General Orythia" could make a good mid-range Amazon deck.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.80%
  • Win Rate - 51.90%
  • Games played - 12,397

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.40%
  • Win Rate - 43.80%
  • Games played - 1,054

Price - $16.38

18.png

Selena's Insight

Just like selena, her insight has seen sight rise in play in all tiers. It could be a finisher to clear a board and eek out a win, especially with light/war aggro decks being meta.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.80%
  • Win Rate - 51.00%
  • Games played - 13,044

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.80%
  • Win Rate - 47.40%
  • Games played - 1,963

Price - $2.98

19.png

Arkmonian Hydra

This card performs well in lower tiers and has a decent play rate among all tiers this month. It could fit in both mid-ranged and control variations of nature decks, and it's synergy with the trial of the hydra is a plus.

All

  • Play Rate - 1.80%
  • Win Rate - 51.70%
  • Games played - 29,442

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.80%
  • Win Rate - 43.20%
  • Games played - 2,010

Price - $8.93

20.png

Seasonal Rebirth

Having a multitude of removal cards for nature players, this card has lost its value. Furthermore, the meta doesn't suit this card, which is fast-paced.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.70%
  • Win Rate - 51.80%
  • Games played - 11,395

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.70%
  • Win Rate - 46.30%
  • Games played - 1,625

Price - $5.21

21.png

Figure in the Streets

This card is still one of the worst cards in this set. The control meta for nature player came and went this month. Yet this card struggled to find itself in those decks.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.20%
  • Win Rate - 51.00%
  • Games played - 2,715

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 0.10%
  • Win Rate - 42.60%
  • Games played - 333

Price - $0.68

22.png

Dionysus, the Bountiful

This card mainly fits in a control nature deck, and if you can get to the late game, you will be rewarded. that said, it is seeing more playing time in mythic than in lower tiers of play.

All

  • Play Rate - 0.70%
  • Win Rate - 53.60%
  • Games played - 10,658

Mythic

  • Play Rate - 2.20%
  • Win Rate - 52.10%
  • Games played - 5,153

Price - $29.78
