Dele got married to Pearl because she was beautiful and social even presentable to take out so he was happy to settle down with her but later the story changed for the two of them because they didn't court well before jumping into marriage.
"Good morning beautiful lady," Dele greeted his beautiful wife with a kiss.
"Hey honey, how was your night?" Pearl greeted her husband back. She turned to check the time and it was past seven.
"OMG, I am late," Pearl shouted and rushed out of bed to get a shower and get ready for work.
"Babe, did you just enter the bathroom? Are you not going to prepare breakfast for us to eat?" Dele shouted from the room while Pearl was in the bathroom.
Dele thought she didn't hear him so he went into the kitchen to fix breakfast for himself and left a little for her as well. Some minutes later Pearl came out well dressed and was ready to leave for work.
"Really babe, you didn't prepare breakfast and you wouldn't eat the one I managed to prepare?" Dele asked with a confused look.
"Babe am sorry, I will grab from the eatery later you should as well," Pearl replied then kissed Dele on his cheek before stepping out of the house.
Dele wasn't delighted with what just happened but because they just got married he didn't want to nag so that that Pearl wouldn't feel chock in the marriage.
Pearl continued her attitude for some days and when it was on Saturday Dele woke up early to do a little exercise and then hoped that his beautiful wife would prepare a delicious meal when she got up from bed. But he was wrong about everything he was thinking.
"Hello, is that Mama Chef's restaurant?" Pearl said on the phone as she came out of the bedroom. Meanwhile, Dele was exercising in one corner of the house.
"Yes please, my name is Esther how may I help you please," the receptionist of the restaurant answered.
"I need two plates of soup, and three plates of rice as well. Please don't keep me waiting," Pearl hung up the call and then sat on the couch then grabbed the TV remote.
Dele didn't believe what he just heard from his beautiful damsel, so he stopped the exercise and then asked, "Did you just order food?".
"Yes babe, I just did my nails last night and I wouldn't want it to stain so let's just eat that hmmm later I will prepare food," Pearl replied to her husband with a fake smile on her face.
"Oh really, it's been weeks now since we got married and I have never seen you inside my kitchen to prepare food like every other married woman does, babe don't you know how to cook?" Dele said to Pearl.
"Look, babe that was then when women cooked and sweat for no reason, so let's not drag this," Pearl replied then faced the TV.
The food delivery came in and they ate Dele was delighted with the food because it was so sweet and while he was eating, he wished his wife could prepare a delicious meal like that. That went on for months and Dele couldn't take it anymore.
"Pearl, I need you to cook food for me to eat be in that kitchen right now and prepare food as a married woman that you are," Dele said angrily on one Saturday morning. Pearl knew Dele was angry and she had never seen him like that before so she went into the kitchen.
"What do I even know how to cook?" She grumbled in the kitchen while she put a pot on the burner.
"I don't even know how to cook," Pearl said to herself while she was adding sauce to the pot without knowing what she was doing. While Dele peeps to look at what she was doing and from what he could pick, his wife doesn't know how to cook. But he didn't say anything until Pearl brought out what she cooked.
At the dining table, "Arrrh, Pearl did you want to kill me? Because I asked you to cook," Dele said to Pearl looking so disappointed.
Pearl moved closer to the food and tasted it, "ewww, this is bad, babe am sorry," Pearl replied after tasting what she had prepared.
"So it's true, you really can't cook and you don't think I need to know about that," Dele got angry and left the house then dropped a text for his wife saying, "When you learn how to be a wife give me a call, don't bother to look for me,".
Pearl cried so hard all alone because she didn't have any friends to run to for help but then she went back to the eatery she always ordered from.
"Good afternoon ma'am," Pearl greeted the receptionist.
"How may I help you ma'am, the receptionist answered Pearl.
"Please I need to see the owner of this place, it's very important," Pearl said to the receptionist looking down.
"Hello ma'am, someone is at the reception she said she wanted to see you," the receptionist called and Pearl was directed to her office and when she got there she explained that she wanted to learn how to cook.
They signed a deal of 3 months of cooking training. Three months later Pearl was at home lonely and then she dropped a message for her husband, "I think I know how to cook now babe, please come back home have missed you so much,".
Immediately the message entered Dele's phone at the hotel where he was staying he packed his bag and headed back home.
Dele got into the sitting room and then sat on the dining table without saying a word to Pearl and Pearl knew what he wanted to she rushed down to the kitchen to prepare food for him.
Some hours later, "OMG this food is delicious, which restaurant did you order this from because I know you can't learn how to do this in just three months," Dele said feeling so delighted with the food he just ate.
"I cooked it, babe I will do anything to make you mine," Pearl replied and explained how she went back to the restaurant for cooking training, she was delighted with the way Dele enjoyed the food she cooked by herself. And after that, they never had such issues in their marriage again, and they lived happily ever after.
