Cleaning was the first thing I was taught by my mom because we have plenty of girls in the family so having plenty of girls makes my mom a very strict person.
When I was little, she normally shared housework for me and my twin brother but when I became a teenager she stopped sharing she always told me that I am a lady I need the training more than my brothers does but that doesn't stop her from letting my brother do some house chores as well.
When I left my mom's house to stay with my aunty, proper cleaning of the house is what made her love my stay at her place and when I finally have my apartment, I don't find it hard to do because I am used to it.
When am done with my morning devotion, I will head to the kitchen. The kitchen is my favorite part of my house and that is why I love cleaning it every day without getting tired i am used to cleaning.
My mom made me understand that as a woman, your kitchen defines the kind of person you are, if you are a neat person it will show inside your kitchen, and if you are a dirty woman then your kitchen will suffer more than every other part of your house.
So being the neat person that my mom trained me to be, I love taking care of my kitchen after my morning devotion, I will wash the plate and clean every part that needs to be cleaned.
Monday is always my off day at work because I work during the weekends but on Mondays, I will be home cleaning up the whole house and after that, I plan myself for the remaining days of the week.
After that I will do my laundry, of course, we all know most people love washing clothes on weekends because we all have one or two things keeping us busy during the week but in my case, I don't just like washing during weekends because I stay in a very crowded apartment so everyone is always rushing to spread their clothes on the line.
My laundry is always on Monday because everyone must have gone out to work by the time I am done with my laundry so there will be nobody to drag the hanger with after that, I move on to the general house cleaning e.g sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc so those are the general cleaning I will do after everything,
Let's just say that Monday is my general house cleaning day but sweeping comes every day and the kitchen is always clean.
