In a land of gratitude and respect in igbo land in ABIA state in IDILI kingdom,it is a small village with more problem surrounding the village because the king wives in the village couldn't give birth to a boy who will take over from the king in the village, the king was worried of is problem.
One day he visited one chief priest near his neighbouring village, the chief priest do some incantation and say the king the issue behind you is too big I cannot mentioned the problem and the king ask while is the gods punishment him like these, he also visited a lady his the river benue in the midnight and the lady came out from the river and said,"young man your case is too versatile that I cannot mention but I will direct you to a place in OGUN state where I think you will find solution to your problem and he came back home and he started making preparation for the journey to ogun state and the people in the village are mocking the king say it most that you can have a male child.
One day he stood up and stood his wives that he is travelling to ogun state for a mission which, he will stay for one week and his wives sayed "IGWE" we hope all is well and he said yes, on his journey he reaches the place and he saw the gods of ogun laugh and said"young man can you remember your pass in the forest where you have an argument with this old man and you slap him and he laid a cause on you and the cause his following you and the king said the gods of Iron what is the solution to the problem I Need a child that will take over from me, where I stopped and the gods said you will go back to the village and make necessary preparation, you are going to MONACO locate in the southern part of CALABAR, go and you will come encounter with different old ancient men but never turn back till see the old ancient man you slap and he will give you a calabash with blood inside and you will drink and return back home with a trone of stick, if you do these you will have a male child that will take over from you but you much prepared and you can go and the king ask how did the old man look like he said they are thousands of old men in the forest but these specific young man have a mark in his left hand and the king said thanks you the gods of iron.
The king came back to the village and called the elder of the village and said he is going to a journey of twenty day in a forest And they ask him while he told that, he offended one old man and he more meet the man and apologise before he can give birth to who will take over from him, they if the twenty days reach if he is not back the next day the throne will be in one of the elders head and the king accepted and he told his wife too.
On his journey to the forest he started facing alot of challenges in this journey seeing different old men but with similar sign in the hand and the tenth day in the forest the king was beaten by an evil spirit and the evil spirit take away all his food and leave him with nothing and on the fifteenth day, an old ancient man appear and called his name and said come and followed me, I will you food and water to to and the king said"old man I am not testing I came for a purpose of meeting and old man and apologies to my rude behaviour and the old said "hey boy followed me and the king started following this old man and the seventeen day the king told the old that he want to drink water and as the old man his fetching the water for the king to drink and the king king saw the mark that the gods of ogun told him about and immediately the king lie on the ground and said"old man please for me for my rudness to you and the old man said you man stand up the constraints you pass through this forest is enough for me to forgive you and the old man forgive him and gave him the necessary things the king and show the king road and said " young man dint turn back no matter how the problem his and the said thank you old man and on his way coming back to the village his meet a slay queen calling him to come and drink water before he complete his journey and he is following her and her think what what the old ancient man told him and he refused.
On the twentieth day the elder set their eye they don't see the king and they are about to give another person the throne during the inauguration and they saw the king coming to the Palace with calabash with blood inside and the king makers said the owner of the throne is back so he should continue from where he stop and the king show his gratitude to the people in the village and also give a word of advice that no matter the power you have never disrespect your elder.
One month later the king's wife became pregnant and during the delivery she gave birth to a boy and the king is happy saying I goal has been fulfilled and he thank the gods of ogun for the guilde.
