Alex on the night of his fake date with Lora

He got up early which was unusual but his maids didn't show it on their faces as they knew a little mistake could make them lose their jobs. He took a sip of his favourite coffee, took in a deep breath and stood up to go to take his bath.

He noticed his hands were shaking, he could feel his heart beating fast with so much excitement but he tried hard to not believe what exactly was going on with him.

Alex, it's just a fake date and we should keep it that way
He said to himself looking at the mirror in his bathroom after coming to realization of what he had been trying to avoid. He did an extra self clean up, spent more minutes finding the right outfit to wear and he couldn't stop making his maids anxious with his rare behaviour of looking perfect for that day.

Our Boss is in love, he definitely is!
One of the maid whispered quietly at the kitchen and they all smiled excitedly about it.

Alex got ready and left for his date at a classic restaurant he had booked before time, he got down from his limousine, looked around to be sure he came earlier than Lora and he gave out smile.

I want everything to be perfect even though I don't know why I want it that way
He said as he got the waiters to prepare his table and sat comfortably to wait for Lora who he believed would be there in almost no time.

Lora on the night of her fake date with her Boss, Alex

Lora didn't had a good sleep wondering if what her Boss had said was a dream or another play around which he usually does with her as his personal assistant. She had always fantasized going on a date with her handsome Boss but she couldn't stop thinking of how different their two worlds were.

While she was busy preparing her schedule report for the next day's work, her best friend came in and said she saw her Boss looking so dashing as always at a restaurant. Lora was shocked to find out that he was being serious about the date.

But he never said he was actually being serious about us having a fake date
Lora tried to get rid of the thought that her fantasy was actually coming true. Her bestie didn't let her waste the opportunity presented to her to confess her feelings, she dolled Lora up and drove her to the date venue herself.

Lora felt so nervous but at the same time, happy that her Boss was actually waiting for her. She walked slowly with her red gown and heels looking so flashy which wasn't her style but her friend didn't let her choose. She greeted her Boss from a distance as she walked towards him.

You're welcome Lora, have a seat
Alex smiled nervously to her as he dragged the chair out for her to seat.

I'm sorry I came late, you must have waited for so long Sir
Lora continued in their usual formal way of conversing.

Lora, can we drop the Sir? I mean, we're on a date. Let's just be you and I tonight, can we?
Alex could feel his legs shaking but a nod with her pretty face made it stop.

They had an almost quiet meal until Lora tried to break the silence hoping to say out her true feelings even though it meant getting rejected. She stopped eating and looked up to see Alex smiling at her, he had been watching her eat and thinking of ways to tell her that he wanted all of the event to be real for them.

Uhmm is there something on me? Why the long stare?
Lora asked with a lot of thoughts running through her mind.

Could I had eaten like a local girl? Is the dress torn somewhere? Oh my! Did I get a food stain on my face?
Lora was about losing hope that she didn't stand a chance when Alex stopped her thoughts.

I like you, Lora
I really do and I'd want us to make this real for us

Alex said still looking staring at Lora who couldn't hid her surprise.

Lora couldn't hold back for more than a minute, she hugged her Boss who she had fell in love with for a longer time than he could imagine.
