"Aren't you being too desperate about this guy? All these online relationships can't be trusted girl," Flora said to Hannah who had been trying different wears for her date with Solomon a guy she met on Facebook.
Hannah clocked 34 years of age in March, she was never lucky with anything that has to do with the opposite gender. She had been in about five relationships before that time and Hannah gave up on trying to find a man to spend the rest of her life with.
"Maybe I am not destined to get married," This was Hannah's favourite line until she met Solomon not physically but she had a strong feeling that he was the right man for her.
"Flora, you are saying all these things because you don't know Solomon. He is a sweet soul and I am anticipating to meet him. I have seen him propose to me in my dream several times and it could just be happening tomorrow evening," Hannah replied her best friend.
"You dream too much, just be careful. I don't trust any guy out there because they are always the best until they get what they want," Flora replied.
"I know, I will be careful. What do you think about this dress?" Hannah raised a wine-coloured gown and smiled.
"It's nice, he would go crazy when he sees you. You know you are irresistible to many guys but greed wouldn't just let them stay committed to you," Flora replied.
Flora sat and watched Hannah change from one dress to another. She was scared of Hannah falling victim again but there was little she could do.
"I am going with you," Flora told Hannah and it came as a surprise.
"Yes, please. I wanted to tell you to accompany but I didn't because you turned me down the other day," Hannah replied.
"You need the topmost form of privacy and that's why I didn't accompany you back then. I am going because of your safety and would just sit away to observe this Solomon you are so crazy about," Flora replied.
Hannah spent the whole night talking about Solomon and Flora wished she didn't visit her friend that weekend.
Hannah started preparing for the date immediately after she woke up and Flora just watched. At exactly 2 pm, they left their apartment on the Island in a Uber.
Hannah kept fantasizing about different things until they arrived at the Sheraton Hotel. They went into the building and found a perfect place to sit.
Flora sat a few tables away from Hannah and just watched from them. Hannah put a call across to Solomon and he walked while his phone was ringing.
"I am in the building, where are you sitting?" Solomon asked.
Hannah replied and he went straight to her table.
"You look beautiful," Solomon admired Hannah as he sat.
"Thanks, you are looking handsome too," Hannah replied.
"I can't believe I'm finally sitting with you," Solomon said to Hannah and she just continued blushing.
They chatted for a while, ordering food and drinks. Everything that happened on the date made Hannah happy and she was excited.
The two lovers were there until night fell and Flora admired them both. It was finally time to leave and Solomon requested that they meet again very soon.
They eventually left the hotel lounge and Hannah didn't stop telling Flora how sweet Solomon was. The lovers went on a date a few more times before Solomon proposed to her.
It was just unbelievable for Hannah as she stared at the proposal ring with Solomon on his knee.
She burst into tears and just stared at Solomon. Hannah said yes and they took their relationship to the next level. Flora was happy that Hannah finally got the man of her dreams.
They got married and lived happily ever after. Hannah became a symbol of hope for ladies who had a delay in finding true love. Now, she always said that true Love can be found anywhere and we just have to open our hearts to people who truly care.
