Hello friends out there in our dear community of WEEKEND EXPERIENCES, it is my delight to express my desires and activities over the weekend that just ended on Sunday March 12. So come along with me as I disclose to you that few but interesting things that happened to me. Hope you are ready? Great am here!
I always love this time of the week - Saturday and Sunday - because its a usually work free, and time to be with family, friends, and relatives. I wanted to use my favourite outfit colour of Yellow, so I searched my wardrobe and selected 2 of my yellow clothes to wear for the weekend.
There are 2 important things I always do on weekends - Shopping and being with friends. On this aspects, I love to be happy and be my best humble self. Just like the saying goes - like attracts like so my deep thoughts goes to what I should do to benefit myself and others. I already know the answer is just being happy and locating the right people and event.
It started with a shopping for a few household needs.
I chose a nearby supermarket to purchase a few items for my family needs because I can't afford going outside my locality at this time because am cashless. This month of March in Nigeria has been a tough one for almost everyone because of the new government policy of changing our Currency to a new naira note which has led almost everyone to be cashless. Despite that, I still chose to be happy and make the most out of my weekend as usual.
Every item bought was done on money transfer as its the order of the day now in my country, there is little or no cash on hand. So I have to get a little pack of my Fanta Orange drink.
Here at the Glorious Supermarket, the owner of the shop is a good friend of mine and is always cheerful as she looks forward to seeing me on weekends for my patronage. I had a snapshot of photograph with her as she packaged the goods with smiles.
My next snapshot still on my yellow outfit for the weekend was with this my lovely friend and her daughter Kaka. This Sunday we had to be together for some 1 hour 45 minutes. I decided to jump into their selfie-snap shot. Is it not beautiful?
There is nothing more I can give to myself other than happiness especially at this time that the world is not having a good and fair share of it. Don't be gloomy, smiles is all that is needed to carry on in life.
