Happy Monday, Hivers!!
How was your weekend?? I hope you had a good rest to recharge for another busy week.
Let me share with you a simple Sunday I had. Usually, My Weekends are busy. I work on the weekends, but lately, my schedule has cleared up, giving me time to enjoy my weekends.
Yesterday, I went for a walk to the Capitol grounds with my husband. When we arrived, we saw a few men playing basketball and some children riding their bikes and scooters.
My husband stopped for a while to check if his friends were there. When he didn't see them, we continued our walk. But I couldn't stop looking at the sky. My phone didn't do justice to the real colors 😂, the sky should be a glow of yellow and orange, then the clouds are gray with a hint of blue.
We walked around for a few laps, then rested at the open area where the food carts were. There were a lot of people there. I saw some familiar faces and new ones. Then I got hungry. This is usually the time I eat snacks before my shift starts, so I guess it's my body reminding me it's time to work 😁
I grabbed coffee and fries, so I won't get full before my dinner later.
I enjoyed sipping my coffee while watching people do their thing. 😁
Then, everything slowly turned dark. It's evening now, but there were still a lot of people there. I saw some nurses just come off work from the nearest hospital. More and more people gathered in the open area in front of the food carts.
After finishing my coffee and fries, I decided to walk one more lap around the museum before heading home.
Simple Sunday. Simple Walk.
