I’m please to share with you guys one the funniest things I’ve witnessed, thinking about it is actually making laugh already because it was actually really funny but risky at the same time.
Some years back my family lost our grandma from my mums side, so we decided to prepare for her burial.

We bought lots of drinks, food items and gifts too because thats how its been done in my tribe. I’m from the southern part of Nigeria (Ijaw) to be precise, which means its only the sea thats the route to almost all the villages. Actually two things happened in that particular burial.
First it was my uncle, because my grandma was his mum, he was really sad and has been crying due to that he had enough to drink, when it was time for the for my grandma to be laid to rest, the drink started working in my uncle’s system and he passed out, he was taking inside the house to sleep by the time he woke up, the burial was almost over, he didn’t witness anything and he didn’t even wear his cloth for ceremony.
When the ceremony was over, the next morning we were supposed to leave very early in the morning to avoid waves from the sea but not also knowing that my immediate elder brother also had enough to drink. When we got to river bank to enter a boat, because my brother didn’t really know what he was doing, he put one leg in a boat, and then put his second leg in another boat, a little wave came and the two boat separated, he landed inside the water, he was soaked in water from head to toes. He got up and did thesame thing again and for the second time he landed inside the water, that was when we knew that he also had too much to drink, we laughed so hard at him and kept on talking about it till we got home.
He was lifted up by my uncles and was put in the boat, since then he had learnt his lesson.
