Hello hive's beautiful family π₯°.
I am very happy to be able to share this nice trip I took over the weekend to the city of Trinidad.
We left early Saturday morning from Ciego de Avila, my mom, my boyfriend and I were very excited, I must admit, we had wanted to make this trip for a long time, until finally the universe conspired to make it happen.
Trinidad is the third town founded by the Spanish colony between 1513 and 1514, is a World Heritage Site, a Craft and Creative City of the world, and a National Monument of Cuba.
It is a very colorful city, its cobblestone streets and architecture make it more than photogenic, leaving no one indifferent in its path.
You need more than one day to delight yourself with the rich history behind each house, many of which are now museums, restaurants, and viewpoints.
This last photo corresponds to the Bell Tower of the Convent of San Francisco de Asis, the highest point of the city of Trinidad, and where we could not fail to climb.
The convent is now the National Museum of the Fight Against Bandits. Downstairs there is war material from that era on display, but I preferred the beautiful views of the mountains and the delightful breeze.
I can not describe in words how beautiful it looks from above the mixture of colonial city, sea and mountains.
The blue of the sky in perfect contrast with the predominant yellow made me not want to leave or stop taking pictures. Each place has its own touch and charm.
The hours slipped away from my hands totally in love and left me wanting to return.
I will return whenever I can to enjoy this beautiful city, to delight myself with its views and its architectural and cultural richness, which is also full of beautiful and friendly people.
And so far my friend, I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did. I say goodbye wishing you have a nice week, and inviting you to get to know Trinidad if you don't know it. Virtual hug, see you soon! π€
