Because Lambo is overrated - DreamCar

Across the Philippine islands, 7 out of 10 cars are owned by the middle-income class. This is true from a certain study in 2018 where the researchers showed annualized growth of car ownership in the country from 2006 to 2015. Their statistics show that the distribution of car ownership is highest in middle-income households than the upper-income and rich families. While we can't neglect the fact that there are more families in the Philippines that classify themselves as middle-income earners, we can't also deny the point that it is easy and cheap to own a car in the country at a rich level down to a certain level of middle classes.

This is not always true to all middle-classes, like example me, who belongs to the lower-middle-income earner, I always find it impractical to own a car not just because of the financial burden but for the following reasons which include inconvenience on daily transport due to traffic and congestion of privately owned cars and public vehicles, high maintenance and additional recurring costs associated. Ultimately, the main reason will always be my main concern; getting the most out of the cost I put into the vehicle which is always a liability at any given angle.

But lately, I've been thinking of the possibility of owning a vehicle, say a car or an SUV or a minivan. Among all mentioned vehicles, I would love to have a Hummer, an SUV-type Hummer to be exact.

Hummer is my dream car since high school. My desire to own this slick vehicle(this is before I got myself a motorcycle) started when I saw a scene from Highschool of the Dead anime(don't judge me) where they featured a military-type Hummer called Humvee M1025 - A high-class military vehicle equipped with superb technology than even an EMP cannot penetrate its circuitry and system. But the Hummer I want is totally different from the previous models of Hummer ever produced like the H1, H2, and H3 of General Motors. It is an all-electric-powered SUV truck, the Hummer EV SUV of GMC.

GMC's newest and soon to be available Hummer boasts its advanced features not quite available to any other SUV model in the market. It has a durable look that ensures track maneuvering on muddy swamps and rocky terrains.

The all-new electric-powered super truck has 3 variants that vary in the number of motors and added features. Of course, I am determined to choose the most expensive yet worth the cost Hummer variant.

Regular SUVs models in the Philippines aren't that hard to achieve but getting the Hummer brand is a different kind of luxuriating. H2 and H3 models of Hummers are sure to present in the country and will likely cost you 2 to 3 million Philippine Peso(tax included) to get them running on the streets. But additionally, hummers are rarely seen in our place, let alone places like rural areas and growing urban which make them more unique in the eyes of the common people.

The kind of Hummer I want will cost me around PHP4.85 million, excluding taxes. That lump sum of money will take me years of working on my daily job but who knows it would only take me a month on my crypto portfolio. lol!

So for me, it is more fitting to ask "when lambo hummer?"
