Your Extended Bank Account isn't your Money - It's your Network

I did not think the rich would run out of money until I read that they could. No, wait, I also watched Camila Vargas do it in the movie, Queen of the South. It turned out the only way she could stay in the business and not get wiped out was dependent on her reputation. And she lived up to it so much that the people she was in the business with trusted her enough to give her products even when she did not have the cash to pay.

She came into one trouble or the other that quickly liquidated her in a way that even though cash is said to be king, she did not have this particular king by her side. At some point, she had an emergency savings to fall back on but she got robbed. She tried to trick her way into funds during a racing game yet again she failed. Until she had no other option than to depend on the trust she built around her network

In a way, it sends a message. A clear one at that. Your extended bank account according to Rob Moore isn't the money you have in there because there is every tendency that you could run out of it. Instead, it is your network.

You are encouraged to build your network. This is the system that will connect you to people so that you can draw resources and be able to make the world a better place as you intend to do. You might find yourself in Camila's position where your business will suffer and your client base will move over to your competitor if you do not have the resources to make purchases and satisfy the marketplace that you acquired for yourself.

The attention that you held begins to diminish and even though you had the best product in town, not being able to deliver at that point in time becomes a problem. A challenge that you might not be able to recover from unless you do something about it.

Your network will be essential and you need to learn to invest in it as you would invest in a business opportunity. By connecting and bringing value, the same will be extended to you. It may not always be in the form of money but trust me, my grandma had told me once that whatever you do for someone you are doing it for yourself. So the value you give to the next person may not always translate to you receiving rewards and payment at the moment.

In fact, if you are looking for rewards and payment at the moment, you will limit yourself to what you can get at that instant and you might lose out on bigger things and resources in the future. But if you look for values in other ways than just physical currency, there will be a point where a lot of things that you did not seem to notice open up right before your eyes and you can capitalize on that without necessarily getting paid by your network. Well, if it turns out that you do need a bit of funding to kick-start these new revolutions of yours, of course, the network you built will come to your rescue.

Understand that as Robert Kiyosaki said,Work to learn and not to earn, there is more truth in this phrase that you need to be directly involved to really understand it. When you work to earn, your mind will close off to other hidden opportunities embedded in the work you are doing. This is because you will only be seeing everything in terms of dollar bills. The gaps you could fill for greater value will be closed off from your imagination.

But if you are working to learn, sooner than later, you will see something that you could capitalize upon. It would look like an eureka moment but it's one of the benefits of overlooking getting paid now to enjoying a payment structure that's much bigger than the present cents.

Again, it's by doing that you will understand, so I'll join Rob Moore to encourage you to build your network, and don't forget to give as much value as possible. Invest in it as though you are investing in a physical asset and don't forget the saying that if you want to go far, work with others.
