La educación que recibíamos antes y la que reciben nuestros hijos es muy diferente, anteriormente un niño salía de preescolar leyendo, hoy en día los muchachos están en bachillerato y aún no saben leer bien ni escribir.

En el caso del liceo de mi hijo todos sus exámenes son grupales, y los grupos son de tres y hasta cinco alumnos de los cuales generalmente dos son los que hacen el examen, por otro lado, los exámenes duran de dos a tres días a veces los niños consideran que es injusto que muchos de los que pasan todas las materias con veinte en la mayoría de los casos no hacen nada o mandan hacer sus exámenes y es que en aquellos tiempos que yo estudie ver una boleta con 20 puntos era en realidad impresionante porque el muchacho se lo ganaba, pero hoy es sorprendente ver que de un salón de treinta alumnos la mitad pasa todas las materias con veinte.

Por otro lado, son más los trabajos y asignaciones extracurriculares que la enseñanza impartida en el aula y con esto no quiero juzgar a los profesores porque sé que ellos cumplen órdenes, pero todo esto hace que la educación de los niños sea un verdadero reto, ya que los verdaderos intereses educacionales al parecer han quedado aparte.
Hoy en día lo que los muchachos aprenden es lo que se les enseña en la casa, pareciera que el periodo escolar es solo un requisito más que deben cumplir para poder avanzar, entonces como padres tenemos que ser motivadores, consejeros y hasta psicólogos para poder ayudar a nuestros hijos a entender ciertas situaciones que a simple vista se ven injustas.

Nowadays what children learn is what they are taught at home, it seems that the school period is just one more requirement that they must fulfill in order to advance, so as parents we have to be motivators, counselors and even psychologists to help our children understand certain situations that at first glance seem unfair.
Hace poco tuve un malentendido con uno de los profesores y es que mi hijo por ser buen estudiante lo tienen como décimos aquí de marca saco, es decir va a todas las actividades a representar a la institución, entonces eso implica dinero extra, tiempo extra y tareas extra que nos roba mucho tiempo familiar y cuando yo le dije al profesor que también le diera la oportunidad a otros niños , no le pareció y hasta creo que se molestó y para mí fue muy difícil porque me toco explicarle a mi hijo que no estaba obligado a participar tofo el tiempo.
Hoy como padres también tenemos que ser buenos docentes para ayudar a nuestros hijos y complementar esa institución que lastimosamente no están recibiendo.
