My life before being Isabella's mommy

Hello friends of this beautiful community, it's been a while since I've been here, but today reviewing the initiatives I came across this week's challenge and I would like to share with you what my life was like before becoming a mom and what I would have liked to do or complete before this big change.

I became a mother very young, I was only 23 years old and I feel that I did not have time to enjoy that certain freedom of not having children, that is, that stage between finishing school, starting to work and cultivating a professional career, I think that for me that stage in my twenties was a mixture of things that happened too fast, for example, I got married, I graduated from college, I barely had a technical career, I started working and then I got pregnant, that's why there was not much in my life before I became a mom, it was like three years where everything was super fast and I didn't even have time to know what I was living, I didn't even have time to know what I was living. And from there life had a before and an after.

Some time ago I heard a phrase that said that when you become a mother you forget what you were before that, because our children were there with you subconsciously, and you can not imagine life without them, in my case in a way it is so, all my adult life has been in the company of my daughter, and it is difficult for me to imagine what would become of me if I didn't have her.

However, something that I have thought about a lot, especially lately that I am over 35 years old, is that I still wonder what I am going to do with my life, I recognize that I should have studied more, that is, I should have made an effort to do a complete university career, not just a technical degree, also I should have been braver to recognize that the first career I studied was not for me and that there was still time to start another one that would be more useful in the future, even now I think that I need to study something before more time goes by.

Another thing I would have liked to do before becoming a mom is to have better established my work goals, also some economic stability, even to have a good house to live in, although I already had it, because my parents inherited a house to my sister and me, even so it was not exactly what it should be, after having Isa is that I started to reform the house, adapt the space to my needs, we must share it between my sister my mom and me, so there were many reforms, and just to have a daughter to take care of, all these reform expenses were difficult to afford but still we did it, until the house was perfect, but .... months later we moved to Brazil so we didn't enjoy it.

But in the end all this that I imagine I should or could have done before, is always based on what could give my daughter a better life now, now that Isa is older and in a way she is becoming more independent, my husband and I have plans, because it is now or never, both in terms of education and work, because one will not be young forever and 10 years from now we are past 40's an age when we should already have established something better for our lives.

So that's it, I don't regret being a mom so young, but I would have liked to take advantage of my youth in a different way, not to have let the years go by without having built a better life for my family, which has its consequences today, but as I said it's not too late, and maybe the three of us together can create something great to live for the rest of our lives.
