A man and his wife always quarell in the compound where I stay where it have even become a daily routine where this fight and argument do occur on a daily basis. Sometimes the fight or quarell will happen in the morning while some other days will be in the night and even midnight.
They do quarell to the extent that they keep malice to each other lol. Hearing their conversation most times is always about money and when the man fails to give his wife money the fight and quarell becomes the next thing to engage on. Other tenants have tried to seperate and settle them most times but it seems nothing good is changing about their situation so everyone in the compound don't bother anymore.
The couples have two kids and each time the wife prepares any meal she wouldn't give her husband at all. So instead he tries to feed himself from friends around because he has no job at the moment. There was a faithful day he played a bet hoping to win 4 million naira. The game he played was going smoothly that it remained only one game to play in the ticket and unfortunately for him the game was going to play the following day.
He was so excited because he believe the last game remaining in that ticket is going to enter. However he didn't tell his wife anything because they were not in good terms but the night before that day, the wife was suspecting something different about him as he was so happy. When the next day came the man went out so he can watch that last game to know his faith.
When the man went out he changed his clothes to a good looking one because he believes something good wants to occur which is waiting at the corner. Seeing this excitement, the wife decided to wash his clothes so that he would be more happier when he comes back lol. Unfortunately for the man the ticket was in one of his trousers he wore that the wife washed.
When he came back he was so happy that he couldn't hold himself anymore but then when he entered inside his house he couldn't see wear he dropped his trousers anymore, due to the fact that he was in a good mood he didn't bother to shout at his wife to ask where his trousers is instead he asked it in a polite manner lol.
The wife too didn't get upset and told him in a good manner that she has helped him to wash his trousers. Hearing this he shouted ah! this lady has finished me, he ask her if she saw or remove any ticket in his trousers and she said no. This was when this man wasn't himself anymore and when he checked to see the ticket inside his trousers, it has squeeze to the extent that you can open or aumend it again.
This got the man crying so heavily that he was rolling himself in the ground shouting that his wife has finished him lol and even his wife that don't know what was occuring before regret washing his clothes. People then advice the man to go to where he played the tickets and explained what happened. Behold they didn't listen to him because they said they need proof to confirm that he played such game which he didn't have anymore and that was how he lost the whole money.
