Sí algo nos dejó claro el 2020 es que, como dice el refrán: "El hombre propone pero Dios dispone" en el sentido de que muchas veces nos hacemos propósitos, nos trazamos metas para una nuevo año, pero a veces existen circunstancias que nos hacen que nos tengamos que replantear nuestros objetivos.
Por eso, lo mejor es que estemos abiertos a cualquier eventualidad que se pueda presentar y que no esté en nuestras manos poder solventar, al menos del todo.
Esto no quiere decir que no tengamos una especie de coordenadas que nos ayuden a orientarnos en este nuevo año. Al contrario, estas son necesarias. Lo importante es la forma de plantearlas, que sean cosas que realmente podamos lograr y que tengamos enfoque en ellas.
Una de las mejores maneras que he encontrado para hacer esto es, siguiendo las indicaciones de un importante escritor, Stephen Covey, en su libro los 7 hábitos de la gente altamente efectiva, enfocarnos en las dimensiones del ser humano. Así me lo he planteado yo:
If there is one thing that 2020 made clear to us, it is that, as the saying goes: "Man proposes but God disposes" in the sense that many times we make resolutions, we set goals for a new year, but sometimes there are circumstances that make us have to rethink our objectives.
Therefore, it is best that we are open to any eventuality that may arise and that is not in our hands to solve, at least completely.
This does not mean that we do not have some kind of coordinates that will help us to orientate ourselves in this new year. On the contrary, these are necessary. The important thing is the way we present them, that they are things we can really achieve and that we focus on them.
One of the best ways I have found to do this is, following the directions of an important writer, Stephen Covey, in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, to focus on the dimensions of the human being. This is how I have approached it:
Dimensión física y material: aquí podemos abarcar el ejercicio de nuestro cuerpo y determinar nuestros propósitos financieros.
Ser más fiel a mi rutina de ejercicios. El 2020 me ayudo mucho en esto, pero tuve algunos descuidos, por eso, este año procuraré ser más disciplinado.
Fortalecer mi cripto-capital. Cada vez estoy más convencido que lo mejor que podemos hacer es invertir en criptomonedas, el dinero más seguro que existe.
Physical and material dimension: here we can embrace the exercise of our body and determine our financial purposes.
To be more faithful to my exercise routine. The year 2020 helped me a lot in this, but I had some oversights, so this year I will try to be more disciplined.
Strengthen my crypto-capital. I am more and more convinced that the best thing we can do is to invest in crypto-currencies, the safest money there is.
Dimensión espiritual: no sólo en lo referente a mi relación personal con Dios, sino conmigo mismo, ya que aquí es fundamental la certeza de aquel en quien he puesto mi fe y la coherencia con su enseñanza.
No descuidar mi oración personal. Sobretodo, a través de la lectura de la Biblia y de mis tiempos de reflexión.
Dedicar con regularidad tiempo a repensar los valores y motivos de mi vida.
Spiritual Dimension: not only regarding my personal relationship with God, but with myself, since here it is fundamental the certainty of the one in whom I have placed my faith and the coherence with his teaching.
Not to neglect my personal prayer. Above all, through the reading of the Bible and my times of reflection.
To regularly dedicate time to rethink the values and motives of my life.
Dimensión Intelectual: aquí abarco tanto mi creciento personal como el servicio que presto como profesor de filosofía y teología, pues, una de las mejores formas de aprender es enseñar.
Auto educación en temas de crecimiento humano y financieros. Al menos, un par de libros espero poder leer referente a estos tópicos este año.
Organización de los temas de clases. Yo tengo ya más de 7 años como profesor, sin embargo, necesito organizar mis apuntes, así podré hacerles llegar más fácilmente la información a mis alumnos.
Intellectual Dimension: here I cover both my personal growth and the service I provide as a professor of philosophy and theology, since one of the best ways to learn is to teach.
Self-education in human growth and financial issues. At least, a couple of books I hope to read about these topics this year.
Organization of class topics. I have been a teacher for more than 7 years, however, I need to organize my notes, so that I can more easily get the information to my students.
