Hello Hive friends, we continue our trip from Meteora to LOUTRAKI❤️.
ABOUT LOUTRAKI
Loutraki or Λουτράκι is a seaside city on the Gulf of Corinth, Greece. It is located 81 kilometres west of Athens and 8 kilometres northeast of Corinth, while the mountain range of Geraneia dominates north and east of the city⛰️.
In antiquity the name of the town was Thermae (hot springs) known for the therapeutic benefits of bathing in the natural thermal spas found in Loutraki that caused an influx of settlers in the surrounding areas, thereby creating modern Loutraki which you can visit nowadays.
THE JOURNEY
We traveled from Meteora to Loutraki for 6 hours🕥. The trip was very tiring, imagine that you have been on the road all day and the night before, you went at 3AM to sleep after the party. We arrived in the evening hours, we all couldn't wait to get settled in the hotel rooms.The name of the hotel was Akti.80 of us were accommodated in two hotels this time, not one. Gloria, Anasatsia and me were again accommodated together in a room. When we entered the room we couldn't believe it. It was huge room with two big beds and two exits to the terrace that circled the room on both side. The view, it was wonderful, but it was in the evening🌃 and we couldn't see so well what is outside, so we went to sleep and couldn't wait for the morning to wake up and see admire view🌅.

We spent 4 nights there and every day we had trips that I will write about later in the following posts. Loutraki is a really beautiful city, but since it was already the end of September there were not so many tourists, the city was emptier and everything closes at 9PM, but there were a lot of us so we were never bored, we always had something to do. In our free time we went to the beach and swam in the clear sea 🏖together with fish and jellyfish, yes there were also jellyfish but they were harmless🐠🐟.Loutraki is well known for its Casino (Club Hotel Casino Loutraki), one of the biggest in Europe so we took some walks trough the city and visited some stores and restaurants to buy again some souvenirs and to try some new food🦐.
I hope that one day I will have the chance to visit Loutraki again😊.
