Exploring The Most Lively Park In Beijing: The Chaoyang Public Park
Chaoyang Public Park is one of the top 5 largest city parks in downtown Beijing city which is located in the Chaoyang district that is the most popular destination for the foreigners as this is the area where the majority of the foreign embassis and the missions do their operations. So, it is a bit of levelled up district in terms of living cost and the apartmet rent is also veryy high like the othr district Haidian where my old institute was operating before it shofted to the out of the Beijing downtown in the Huairou district where I am currently living.
The park is quite large than I expected and there are two lakes inside the park with several conencting rivers that make the park a scenic one than many other park where single lake with large are can be found here in Beijing likethe Summer palace or the Beihai park of the downtown. It is for the first time I have visited this beautiful park in this side of the Beijing city as m visits are limited to the western section of the downtown where my university campuses are located and this part of the park area is located in the eastern section of the Beijing downtown.
The park route is very simple as you can enter the park from different gates and near each gate you will find some subway entrance and exit points that will make you feel so comfortable to visit the park through subways. For my case I have entered int the park through the South gate which is the main gate of the park with a massive open yard before entering into the park. It is a good thing that the park is free to entry so don't care about the tickets as it a public park. It is relly enjoyable to visit such large parks without any tickets to enjoy the natural beauty in th middle of a modern city.
After entered into the park, I found it very busy than many other parks that I have visited in the Beijing city where few people are noticed. Also, the colorful leaves has welcomd me with its scenic beauty as the winter is just come here and still many leaves are not fallen completely in many trees that made such scenic views in the park. I found the park entry a active vibes that make me feel so festive int he weekend time. I found some open space just after the entry that was full of people activity with their children making it a great place for outdoor activity.
Most importantly I found this section in the deepr area where many children were practicing the air bridge hiking on the trees at mid of the height that is very popular in this section of the park. I saw their exciting activity and the parents were motivaying them to do this brave works.
There are many open space that the children and their parents can enjoy the outdoor activity. Some space are designed for skating, some are for other outdoor activity. I saw many people evertwhere to enjoy different rides and different kinds of gamepay there with their friends and family memebers.
It seems that the park is hub for the people as this is densely populated area of the Beijing city and the number of this large people gathering tells the thic fact clearly. I have seen the business among the people also in their activitiesd just before the evening as days are now very short in this part of this world.
Besides the people activities of the park the amazing natural beauty will definitely attract you in this park. I found an amazing smaller lake that is adjacent to the south gate and named as the nan lake means the lake in the south side. The calm water reflection of the surrounding city life is really eye-catching. I have walked by the lake side area that was stunning with the surrounding city and the afternoon light of the west sun that is now come to the south-western due tot he winter time.
And the natural beauty is alwasy so soothing in the afternoon sun and the water channel area of the park is also so beautiful as you can see in my photos. I will share the intense natural beauty of the park in my next blog on it in the coming days.
