Hello friends, I was glad that my last posts were so successful, in this new post I want to take you on a discovery of a rather special place that I discovered thanks to a friend who lives in Turin.

Thanks to him, I was able to visit the Martini house, practically a museum next to the Martini brand's historical factory.
I think anyone knows this famous brand of alcoholic beverages, which has practically become world famous for its liqueurs but also for its cocktails or other drinks such as bacardi.

The museum is located about 30 km from Turin, I only visited that one, I could not visit the production part of the factory because you have to book well in advance in order to be able to organise the visit, however I can tell you right away that you can also visit it on the plane and at the end of the tour they also teach you how to make some cocktails.
As you can see from the photos, Martini has been a sponsor eh in the motor field with many rally cars but also in formula one, surely someone will remember this historical brand.

I was very impressed by this museum, because inside it holds the 100 50 years of this famous brand, it holds all its secrets all its history and all the things that this great brand has done.

I was very lucky because I was able to visit the museum for free, but for those who are interested, the cost of the ticket is around €10, including, as I said, a visit to the adjacent factory, which from my point of view is a fair price because you will be able to understand how the production of a liqueur works, you will also be able to do some tasting, in short, you will be able to learn many important things.

As you can see from the photos, the museum looks almost like a normal house event kept and well maintained even in the outdoor part where it has furnishings you can of course taste Martini products.

In the inner part of the museum, in the let's say initial part, you can see the means that were used to create these liqueurs at the beginning of the history of this company and even make you see and understand, but also smell the various spices herbs that were used and are still partly used in the production.

Let's say that once beer production was very complicated, there were these very artisanal and totally wooden presses that were used to produce.

The visit to the museum can be done on your own, but I liked this so much because in my opinion if there had been a guide to explain better the various things that are inside the museum or for example an audio guide would have made my experience better.

Inside the museum, there is also a collection of historical Martini bottles, where you can see the first months of transporting these liqueurs in the late 1800s, then again inside the museum there is a virtual bar where there is a virtual bartender who shows you how the various cocktails made with Martini liqueur are prepared.

Continuing with the visit, one can see the various memorabilia, which have made the history of this sponsor in sport, but also some rather special bottles that may have been used in certain commercials or even in certain films as in the case of the 007 film.

As I was telling you in one part of the museum, they practically teach you how to make certain cocktails, in fact you have to make your own cocktail to drink yourself, and then there are lots of models of the rally cars that of course had the Martini company as sponsor.

In the final part of the museum, before the exit practically, there is a part dedicated to the shop of various Martini products, by products I mean jackets, t-shirts, scooters, anything Martini-branded.
I think it is normal to find this final shop, they are rightly trying to sell their brand.

There is also a bar nearby where you can have a drink with friends.

My post ends here, I hope that the story of this museum that has made the history of liqueurs in Italy but also in the world has been interesting, and it was a pity for me not to have been able to visit the production facilities, but surely there will be another occasion later, I thank you anyway for having read this far, I will see you in my next post.

Bye everyone!!!
