Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. I thought it would be nice to share some Pinmapple trivia with you today. Did you know that since we started Pinmapple and our predecessor on the legacy chain in August 2017, all of you lovely people have pinned over 97 thousand posts onto Pinmapple? That's an average of nearly 50 pins a day every day over these nearly 6 years. The team has always known you guys and gals love Pinmapple, and this is solid prove of that ❤️. Next time I'm going to tell you some of our curation statistics, keep a look out for it!

Our winners today 🍍

🥇 Exploring the city between rivers by @dora381

" In this type of places (including the Temple of Literature above), high school or university graduates take photos with traditional áo dài dresses. My husband told me he loves it very much and he wishes that I could wear something similar. Unfortunately, I was not easy to move around on the motorbike with that kind of dress so I have to give it a pass. "

🥈 Artillery Collection of the Austrian Army History Museum by @leoplaw

" However, their artillery collection is mostly outdoors, so you don't have to purchase a ticket to see it. On the weekend, the hall that houses it is open for free, allowing you to walk around the old canons. Since they are made of solid metal and incredibly heavy, no one can steal them or really do any damage to them, thus there isn't a museum attendant."

🥉 Die Vrouemonument: Tying The Knot On A Great Adventure by @technicalside

" The British Field Hospital was something that was quite interesting to me and compared to what The Boers had it proved to be a major difference and that meant saving more lives than what The Boers were able to do.

Of-course everything looks old and outdated and no doubt it is but back then when it was used it was state of the art. I think back then they really relied a lot on the environment for herbs to create remedies and such, stuff that we've long forgotten!"
