Travel Digest #1172

Introduction

Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26, presenting today's edition of #TravelDigest in behalf of @livinguktaiwan. This is a little bit late because of the issue with HiveSQL and subsequent the pinning of posts in the map. Also, it's @livinguktaiwan's birthday so she's having a great time with her family. Happy Birthday Pauline! Wishing you all the best in life! Greetings in behalf of the Pinmapple and Haveyoubeenhere family.

Alright, I won't give previews anymore. Just enjoy all the entries for today's edition. They're all awesome!

🥇 Sunday hike to Peak Dragovski Kamik also known as the Bulgarian Matterhorn by @velinov86

Today I have a very interesting blog to share. We did a hike which was far from being stressful like my most recent ones but I did enjoy it altogether very much. The interesting part is that the mountain itself resembles the famous Matterhorn which is located in Switzerland and stands over 4000 metres high. Our mountain is just 1118 metres high but it is very steep and challenging to ascend.

🥈 Lopata mountain: kingdom of burdock:) (EN-UA) by @lilideleopolis

Our goal was to conquer the Lopata mountain, but before the hike we wanted to rest a bit by the water... And so by chance we ran away from the tourists to the village of Kamyanka and came to a steep road. After passing it, we found ourselves over a sharp descent and saw a magnificent valley with rivers and glades.

🥉 MMM Corones & Paragliding 〽🏔 | 山顶建筑和滑翔 by @itchyfeetdonica

The futuristic mountain museum I'm showing you today is in South Tyrol, Italy. Zaha Hadid and her team designed this project in collaboration with Reinhold Messner, a renowned local mountaineer who made the first solo ascent of Mount Everest and ascended all 14 peaks over 8000 metres. It's called the Messner Mountain Museum (MMM Corones), which is located on the summit plateau of Kronplatz at 2275 metres high.
