One more destination in Switzerland that will steal your heart is this small village Iseltwald. It's a fishing village on the shore of Lake Brienz. This place truly looks something out of a Fairy tale. We had no plans to visit this place. We had taken a boat cruise from Interlaken which was supposed to be for 3 hours. We did not want to do the full 3 hours cruise, but at the same time did want to take the cruise. The Captain advised us that we could take the cruise and next down at the next stop which was after an hour ride, which was this village Iseltwald and that's how me and hubby landed here. The village has just around 500 people living there, how lucky they are to live in a place like this. All around there is so much beauty and the Swiss chalets add a charm to the whole place.
We did not venture out very far inside in the village, we spent around2 hours walking in the place and for return we took a bus which was another delight as it took us through the road with some most stunning views of the Mountains on one side and the Lake Brienz on the other side.
That's the bus stop. When we reached here, we were figuring out where the bus stop and then one gentleman assisted us. We reached here at around 1 and everything was shut. From1 to 4 all the shops and the post office are closed in the place.

There were very few local people that we came across. Most of the people were tourist here, and it seems to be quite a famous place for tourist. I found this place very magical. The whole of Swiss is magical, but there are some places which just take your breath away and this is one of them. Murren and Iseltwald both these places were the show stealers for me.
