Unveiling the Beauty of the Aisle
Aisle of Medellin is a National Highway that connects the Municipality of Daan Bantayan, Medellin, and Bogo City. For the past decades, it was just a two-lane Road which was surrounded by sugarcane land. As the years went by, Aisle was developed into a four-lane national highway. Thanks to the Administration of the Local Government of Medellin, the Aisle has become an attraction for Riders and motorists all over the Philippines.
Riders or motorcycle enthusiast from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao travel by sea together with their bikes just to rev their motorcycle engines here. With the long stretch straight path, they can do the top speed of their bikes. So far, there have been no accidents recorded that happened in the Aisle of Medellin.
The road seems to be up and down if we are going to look straight ahead. We cannot see the end part of the road because of its distance. The other term for the road is 111km since it is 111 kilometers starting from Cebu City bound to the North.
After the quarantine period back in 2021, this place is crowded with riders and rider clubs all over the Philippines, especially during Weekends and Holidays.
As we can see, the highway is still surrounded by Sugarcane farms. Going back to the past years, Medellin has also been a main supplier of Sugar all over the Philippines since BoMedCo which is a producer of Sugar in Northern Cebu was still in operation. Almost all lands for how many hectares are sugarcane lands.
Today, a few establishments have risen in the Aisle of Medellin, and one of them is the Aisle of Medellin Restobar. Until now, it is in operation. Other establishments are restaurants motor shops, and a Video Karaoke bar.
The best part now of the Aisle of Medellin is a soon-to-rise Domestic Airport. Today, it is an ongoing project by the Local Government Unit of Medellin Cebu located at Caputatan Sur and is extended near Canhabagat Medellin where the Aisle is located.
Our Happy Visit
My family are very happy as we decided to visit the Aisle of Medellin. When I was still unmarried, I visited this place together with my motorcycle rider club and was happy watching the big bikes speedily cruising along the highway.
The municipality of Medellin has a lot of Charms to offer, such as pristine beaches, serene surroundings, and this Wonderful Aisle of Medellin which is a combination of manmade and natural magnificence that will lead us to a joyous journey.
