Pescador Island
Hello there, my fellow travelers! 🤗 It's me again, Marinel Wanders (@minelwandersjourney) your travel buddy in this journey. Let me share with you my experience in this Island hopping adventure where sardines dance and turtles sway in the wave of the sea. This time, I took a dive into the blue waters surrounding Pescador Island, a place where crystal clear seas and vibrant waves of deep blue waters welcome you with open arms.
My cousins and I, decided to have an island hopping because one of my cousin just came from another country, which is USA. He came here for a vacation good for one month only so he need to make the most of his vacation. He arrived at the Philippines last September 6, Friday. He then asked us if where we can unwind or travel, and we found this Pescador Island online. And right there and then we booked our schedule for an Island hopping.
- Pescador Island located at the coast of Moalboal, Cebu is known for it;s vibrant coral reefs, exciting dive spots, and the famous Sardine run and turtle. From snorkeling of sea turtles to getting up close to the group of sardine schools, this island hopping of pescador had it all.
Going to the island my cousins and I took a picture together for some remembrance. We also had some talks about life, and teasing each others funny moments. A lot of chickas about how was life recently. We've been so busy because we had different works now. We can only see each other when we have some family gatherings and travel trips just like this.
We almost reach to our destination. We can already see how the island looks. Just a few minutes and we're there. We are so excited just by seeing how beautiful the nature is. We're now ready to go deep and try how this travel going. We're excited to see what's there in underwater. To see the coral reefs, the different kind of fishes most specially the schools of sardines and lastly my most awaited part - to see how turtle moves underwater. What it looks like and feel like to be beside with the turtle. This is my first time seeing turtle in person. And I can't wait to witness this one.
This is my cousin who just came from another country. He would be here in the Philippines for one month because of private matters. Since he will be just here for a short period of time, he wants to travel and enjoy every bit that he's here in the Philippines. He's the one who brought us here and shouldered all of the expenses in this journey. From the transportation, food, entrances and all. We didn't spend even a single penny for this trip. Of course we are happy because it is in favor for us. 😅 Kidding aside 😂 Honestly speaking, we are just so happy that we had a time like this to bond with my cousins and family.
As we reached to our destination, I didn't hesitate to jump and try the ocean. I'm just so excited for everything. I think my heart is going to explode because of the excitement and curiosity I'm feeling. Put my swimming vest and snorkel apparatus to see how beautiful the underwater is.

Our tour guide took this picture using our camera. Look just how beautiful the corals and different fishes underneath. I also got to see Nemo and Dory 😂 I felt like I was being a child again. So happy seeing a lot of fishes with different colors and forms.
We really made the most of our time here. We just swim our hearts out likes there's no tomorrow. This travel is really worthy of your time, money and energy. If I will be given a chance to be back here, I don't think I will get tired of it. This adventure helps to safeguard our mental health. It can gives us peace, relaxation and enjoyment. And that's important in every travel journey.
Finally, I got the chance to be close with the turtle. My heart is just so happy. This is my awaited part. To see up close of the turtle. It is so cute. "It" because I don't know the gender. 😅 All the living things here underwater is so beautiful and amazing. I can't believe that I got a chance to have a moment like this. To feel and touch the lifeforms underwater. 🤗
Another shot close with the turtle. He/she is so distant. If he feels that we are near him, he immediately moves to another direction that can no longer reach him. I think he is scared of our presence, and that is given. Maybe he is not used to be touched and around with a lot of people. And let just put it that way. After all, I'm just so happy that I can see and be around with the turtle and other living things in underwater.
To end this travel blog, I just want to thank my cousin for letting us experience and enjoy this adventurous journey. It wouldn't be possible if it isn't because of him, cause I don't think we can find time for ourselves to unwind because of the very busy and conflict schedules.
