Hi friends of HIVE! I hope you’re doing good! 😃 As I explained in this post, I want to share with you my traveling dream, which is to know at least one place in each province of my country Argentina. Today I’m going to tell you a little about a trip I made in the Neuquen’s province ❤️.

¡Hola amigos de HIVE! ¡Espero que estén bien! 😃 Como expliqué en este post, quiero compartir con ustedes mi sueño viajero que es conocer al menos un lugar de todas las provincias de mi país Argentina. Hoy voy a contarles un poco sobre un viaje que hice a la provincia de Neuquén ❤️.

We did this trip in the fall of last year after going to Bariloche, in Río Negro. To get there we did the so-called "Road of the Seven Lakes", on Route 40. This route crosses almost all of Argentina (before this trip I had no idea about this). On this journey I saw the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen. I just couldn't believe that those places were real and right before my eyes.

Hicimos este viaje en otoño del año pasado luego de ir a Bariloche, en Río Negro. Para llegar hasta allí hicimos el llamado “Camino de los Siete Lagos”, sobre la Ruta 40. Esta ruta atraviesa casi toda la Argentina (antes de este viaje no tenía idea de eso y me quedé fascinada). Si quieren ver más imágenes de la Ruta 40 y sus paisajes pueden visitar el blog de @patagonian-nomad quien hizo un gran viaje recorriéndola 😃. En este trayecto vi los paisajes más hermosos que alguna vez haya visto. Simplemente no podía creer que esos lugares eran reales y estaban delante de mis ojos.

San Martín de los Andes is a city that is located on the shores of Lake Nacar. It is a very quiet place, or so it seemed to us when we went. Everything was beautiful, but we were surprised by the respect for pedestrians they have. We actually put one foot on the street and the vehicles would stop and let you cross. Something never seen before in Buenos Aires 😂.

San Martín de los Andes es una ciudad que se ubica a orillas del Lago Nácar. Es un lugar muy tranquilo, o eso nos pareció cuando fuimos. Todo fue hermoso, pero nos quedamos sorprendidos por el respeto al peatón que tienen. Realmente poníamos un pie en la calle y los vehículos se detenían y te dejaban cruzar. Algo nunca antes visto en Buenos Aires 😂.

Then we went to "La Islita". It was literally a little island. I have a very funny anecdote. Not wanting to ask anyone how to get there, we looked for the way on Google Maps and it threw us a route that said it lasted two hours on foot. As we were in good physical condition, we said "okay, two hours walking will not be a problem for us." So we set off and actually walked two hours there. We had a lot of fun on the way because we went through forests and laughed at the experience. When we finally got to "La Islita", we saw that there was a shorter way to get to the center of the city and it literally took 15 minutes to get back because it was much more direct. It was obviously a shortcut that didn't appear on the map. We couldn't believe it. Anyway, we had the anecdote to tell our friends 😂.

Luego fuimos a “La Islita”. Literalmente era una islita. Tengo una anécdota muy graciosa. Por no querer preguntarle a nadie cómo llegar allí buscamos el camino en google maps y nos tiró un recorrido que decía que duraba dos horas a pie. Como estábamos en buen estado físico dijimos “está bien, dos horas caminando no serán problema para nosotros”. Entonces emprendimos viaje y realmente caminamos dos horas hasta allí. Nos divertimos mucho en el camino porque atravesamos bosques y nos reíamos de la experiencia. Cuando finalmente llegamos a “La Islita”, vimos que allí había un camino más corto para volver al centro de la ciudad y literalmente tardabas 15 minutos en llegar porque era muchísimo más directo. Obviamente era un atajo que no aparecía en el mapa. No lo podíamos creer. De todas formas nos quedó la anécdota para contárselas a nuestros amigos 😂.

This place was really beautiful. As we went in Autumn there was no snow, but I would like to return to see what the city is like when it is covered in white ❤️.

Este lugar fue realmente hermoso. Como fuimos en Otoño no había nieve, pero me gustaría regresar para ver como es la ciudad cuando se cubre de blanco ❤️.
