Having arrived in the province of Salta meant one more step in the fulfillment of my traveling objective, which is to know at least one place of the 23 provinces that Argentina has ✨. For a long time I wanted to visit the north of my country, and this year I finally decided to travel alone and that gave me the opportunity to know it. I took advantage of this date before summer arrives and it was a great decision, because even though it was hot, the days we had were very pleasant. During our passage through the province of Salta, we were able to see a wonderful place fully created by nature: the amphitheater in the Quebrada de Las Conchas 💕.
Haber llegado a la provincia de Salta significó un paso más en el cumplimiento de mi objetivo viajero que es conocer al menos un lugar de las 23 provincias que tiene Argentina ✨. Desde hace mucho tiempo quería visitar el norte de mi país, y este año finalmente me animé a viajar sola y eso me dió la oportunidad de conocerlo. Aproveché esta fecha antes de que llegue el verano y fue una gran decisión, porque a pesar de que hacía calor, los días que tuvimos fueron muy agradables. Durante nuestro paso por la provincia de Salta pudimos conocer un lugar maravilloso y plenamente creado por la naturaleza: el anfiteatro en la Quebrada de Las Conchas 💕.
After visiting Cafayate , we continue our journey to our next stop. We had traveled several kilometers, we still had not reached the hotel but we were taking advantage of every moment of the trip to get to know as many places as possible.
Después de visitar Cafayate, continuamos nuestro viaje hacia nuestra siguiente parada. Llevábamos varios kilómetros recorridos, aun no llegabamos al hotel pero fuimos aprovechando cada momento del viaje para conocer la mayor cantidad de lugares posible.

This tour was part of a travel package that took you to each place for a while: the itinerary is quite complete, just what I wanted. All of northern Argentina is beautiful and characterized by its orange landscapes of mountains and rock formations.
Este recorrido fue parte de un paquete de viaje que te llevaba un rato a cada lugar: el itinerario es bastante completo, justo lo que quería. Todo el norte de Argentina es hermoso y se caracteriza por sus paisajes naranjas de montañas y formaciones rocosas.

Part of the magic of being in this place is to use the imagination to find figures in the rocks, such as this rock shaped like a toad or others shaped like columns, boats, people. It was very funny to hear the guide recounting that, I wonder who would have been the first to name all those places 😂.
Parte de la magia de estar en este lugar es usar la imaginación para encontrar figuras en las rocas, como por ejemplo esta roca con forma de sapo u otras con formas de columnas, barcos, personas. Era muy gracioso escuchar al guia relatando eso, me pregunto quién habrá sido el primero en bautizar todos esos lugares 😂.
After traveling more than 40km of landscapes, we reached our next visit. Of course I had no idea what this place was about: as always, I choose to be surprised once I am there.
Después de recorrer mas de 40km de paisajes llegamos a nuestra siguiente visita. Por supuesto yo no tenia idea de que se trataba este lugar: como siempre, elijo sorprenderme una vez que esté alli.
The place we visit is called The Amphitheater. At the entrance you can see an opening in the rock, more than 20 meters high. Of course it is a place that attracts many tourists, so it is prepared to receive them. There they sold you crafts and you could buy some snacks.
El lugar que visitamos se llama El Anfiteatro. A la entrada puedes ver una abertura en la roca, de mas de 20 metros de altura. Por supuesto es un sitio que atrae a muchos turistas, por lo que esta preparado para recibirlos. Allí te vendían artesanías y podías comprar algunos refrigerios.

As we entered the place I felt smaller and smaller: this rock formation was imposing and it really made you feel insignificant.
A medida que fuimos entrando al lugar fui sintiéndome cada vez mas pequeña: esta formación rocosa era imponente y de verdad te hacia sentir insignificante.

Once inside we all understood the reason for the name. This place generates an incredible echo just by speaking in a slightly high tone. It was like a closed place where you could hardly see the sky, so the sounds bounce in all directions.
Una vez dentro todos entendimos el por qué del nombre. Este lugar genera un eco increíble con solo hablar en un tono un poco alto. Era como un lugar cerrado en donde apenas se veía el cielo, por lo que los sonidos rebotan en todas direcciones.

To make the experience even more magical, there was a man inside singing and playing the guitar. This performance was incredible: he didn't have any kind of microphone, just his voice and guitar, but I assure you it was like being in a real professional concert.
Para hacer aun mas mágica la experiencia, allí dentro había un hombre cantando y tocando la guitarra. Esta interpretación fue increíble: él no tenia ningún tipo de micrófono, solo su voz y guitarra pero les aseguro que fue como estar en un verdadero concierto profesional.

Another beautiful thing that the north of Argentina has is that the sun and the rocks combine to give different colors and landscapes according to the time of day. When we arrived, everything looked a very strong orange hue, but when we were leaving and the sun set a bit, everything was clearer than at the beginning.
Otra cosa hermosa que tiene el norte de Argentina es que el sol y las rocas se combinan para dar diferentes colores y paisajes de acuerdo a la hora del dia que sea. Cuando llegamos todo se veía en una tonalidad naranja muy fuerte, pero cuando nos estábamos yendo y el sol se oculto un poco, todo se veía mas claro que al principio.
Sometimes I find it hard to believe that nature is capable of making these beautiful works: I think of the millions of years it took to form all this and it amazes me to have the possibility of being able to see it with my own eyes. This is one of the most beautiful places I have been 💕.
A veces me cuesta creer que la naturaleza sea capaz de hacer estas obras hermosas: pienso en los millones de años que tardo en formarse todo esto y me asombra tener la posibilidad de poder estar viéndolo con mis propios ojos. Este es uno de los lugares mas lindos en los que estuve 💕.

After spending about an hour in the Amphitheater, we continue our way to the hotel (finally 😂). Our accommodation was in the center of the city of Salta, so we still had several kilometers to travel there. Friends, I assure you that all the fatigue accumulated after spending almost 24 hours on a bus was absolutely worth it. I will always be grateful for having been able to visit this wonderful place, and although I was able to take these postcards to share them with you, the best images were taken by my own eyes when I saw this marvel live and direct 💕.
Luego de estar alrededor de una hora en el Anfiteatro, continuamos nuestro camino hacia el hotel (al fin 😂). Nuestro alojamiento quedaba en el centro de la ciudad de Salta, por lo que aún nos quedaban varios kilómetros que recorrer hasta allí. Amigos, les aseguro que todo el cansancio acumulado luego de pasar casi 24 horas arriba de un micro valió absolutamente la pena. Siempre estaré agradecida por haber podido visitar este lugar maravilloso, y a pesar de que pude tomar estás postales para compartirlas con ustedes, las mejores imágenes las tomaron mis propios ojos al ver esta maravilla en vivo y en directo 💕.
