La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc - is a 5-star resort with a luxurious style like a castle and modern French architecture but I will not come back again.
An unhappy experience at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc, a 3 day 2 night trip in Phu Quoc, the first night I stayed at Vinpearl was quite satisfying. Due to going in a group of 3, I booked a room in another hotel next to La Veranda. After checking in to the room at the other hotel, I and 2 friends went to the beach through La Veranda, only 100m away. Although they are located next to each other, if going from the main gate, it will be 500m farther than the plate, so I decided to take the coastal route to get closer. Coming here was really frustrating, it was just sunny, each child had to carry a very heavy suitcase, but the security guard refused to let me in, even though I said I had a reservation to check-in, but forced us to go to the main gate, not the main gate. let me go this way. At this time, I also found a way to enter the main gate, but because the alley was quite winding, I decided to go back again to ask the security guard to enter but still wouldn't let me. It was also quite frustrating and tiring to come here, fortunately, to meet a staff member who came out and said to check in, so he enthusiastically took us in.
The front desk staff is very enthusiastic to support us, and invited us to the brink of a very delicious summer cocktail, even though there were 3 guests, they still served us. After completing the procedure to rest, I began to visit and explore this resort. La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc brings ancient French style, mixed with traditional Vietnamese cultural identity to bring a new and impressive experience. The interior of the room is made of dark wood, the floor is tiled with antique French tiles. The space is open with lots of green trees and peaceful. The room is fully equipped and clean, I quite like the design of the bed here, the mattress is soft, and the top is covered with a membrane. The subtlety of the hotel is the welcome card with the guest's name on it and the serving of fruit.
The hotel is designed with nostalgic French colonial style, although small but quiet, the garden and beach are very cute. The bedroom has a lot of trees around, has a balcony and an open window overlooking the garden, in the evening, at 5 or 6 o'clock, you should close the door because there are also many mosquitoes. The pool area is small, the design is not very nice, I am not impressed, especially there is a swimming pool for children. The private beach area is clean, the resort prepares a lot of loungers and sets of chairs for beach guests. In the afternoon watching the sunset from the very beautiful beach next to the Olsen, the beach bar is also very quiet.
In the evening, I went to the night market to eat and drink, after returning there was another drama, the story of protecting the coastline continued. Because we went in the car, if we go to the main road, we will walk a long distance, plus I forgot the key at the other hotel, so I asked a friend to go to the beach to bring it over. When I came here, the security guard saw that he should call the front desk and say in front of him "there are 2 small children carrying things to go to the sea". After entering the room, the receptionist called to ask us to enter the room for 3 people, I confirmed that only 2 people and 1 person at another hotel did not enter.
The next day, I prepared breakfast and checked out. The restaurant is luxurious, beautifully designed, serving a breakfast buffet, although a bit small, but in return, the food is delicious. The resort has a free airport shuttle service, I asked for an extra fee for the 3rd individual guest and was supported by the hotel to go for free, thank you very much to the resort, the airport shuttle driver is very friendly and nice. guest
Although the atmosphere is great here, I definitely won't come back because I had a bad experience with security.
