Hi Hivers in the Pinmapple community, today had the opportunity to return to my hometown, Dak Lak province, for a family event. It has been a long time since I returned to my hometown, and I was quite surprised by the rapid changes here. Being born and grew up on the highlands of Vietnam, I had so many beautiful memories about this land of "sun and wind". I always miss the vast area of rubber and coffee, rolling mountains, dense jungles and beautiful sunset. Today on the way home, I found a new beauty, I passed a large wind turbine field in Ea H'Leo, a northern district of Dak Lak province.
With the rapid development of the economy, the demand for electricity is increasing. The use of energy sources such as hydroelectric or thermal power causes serious consequences for nature and the environment. Finding alternative energy sources is essential for sustainable development. And energy from wind turbines is one of the popular clean energy sources today.
Why has my hometown become a suitable place for wind turbine development? Located in the highlands in Vietnam, Dak Lak province has vast plains where wind yield and speed are suitable for wind power development. Therefore, in recent years, the government has invested a lot to build wind turbine fields in my hometown. Besides of vast fields of rubber and coffee, wind turbine fields create a modern beauty of the place.
I heard about these projects before, but I was still very surprised to see them by my own eyes today. They are so majestic. 80-meter turbines are becoming symbols of the development of my hometown. On the way home, I decided to stop by the wind turbine field to take some photos with it. That was a special feeling for me to see the development of the hometown when I had a chance to come back to visit it. It's the symbol of the development of not only my hometown but also the country. The government built a spot there where people can stop to admire the beauty of the turbine field when they have a chance to get by. In addition to other tourist attractions in Dak Lak province, I also highly recommend this place for you guys when you have an opportunity to visit the highlands of Vietnam.
