Today I want to share one of my favorite places in Argentina, it is the Esteros del Iberá National Park.

A magical place in the region of currents, where only human beings coexist in perfect harmony with nature, it is a bit difficult to get there, you have to travel several hours on the way and there is only one bus from the town of Mercedes to Villa Carlos Pellegrini. It has more than 1,381 square kilometers, being one of the largest parks in the South American nation. By visiting it you learn a lot about the biodiversity of the area, the incredible effort that the locals make to conserve it and to live in harmony with nature. You can do outdoor activities such as hiking, horseback riding, boat rides, night walks, museum visits, tour the nearby town called Colonia Carlos Pellegrini.

Animals are not afraid of human beings, they are used to being closely watched and respected, they have no fear and can be seen from a short distance, of course, you must always keep a safe distance, avoiding touching or disturbing them in their natural environment.

Nephilla spider, also known as the golden thread spider, because of the color of its silk when hit by sunlight. They are harmless to humans and are very common in northern Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay.

Aramid birds are very common throughout South America, they nest on the ground in wetlands and basically feed on anything that moves and that they can capture with a pincer-shaped beak. They have long legs and a long, flexible neck that allows them to catch elusive prey. They always walk in pairs and work as a natural alarm, in the presence of any danger they will begin to emit a very sharp and loud song to alert everyone around them.

Capybaras are the friendliest animals in wetlands, they are not afraid to approach other animals even though they may be potential predators, but stay alert, they have sharp teeth and claws that they will not hesitate to use to defend themselves. They can sometimes injure dogs and cats in self-defense if they are near residential areas.
